I've always said that anything can easily go wrong with a product- manufacturing defect that shows up later, rough shipping/handling or a myriad of other issues. But the most important thing is how the company responds to the issue. LED Specialities not only responded well, but reached out to us to solve this issue. I bought this to 'see' scorpions, which are prevalent here and it works great! Creepy how they florescent in this light! It also 'sees' other stuff too. Since we live in a rental, I'm not sure about what some of it is. Body sweat/oil and grease maybe in the kitchen, etc.? Still a lot of it wouldn't come up, even with bleach cleaning. Anyway, I really like the blacklight/flashlight and it was well worth the small outlay of money. Thanks!

Wow, this light is amazing. I have been able to spot the areas that needed much deeper cleaning than I could see with the naked eye (I have two cats and one had a problem with the automatic cat box I had bought). Very bright and made of heavy duty metal. Would highly recommend.

I purchased this flashlight to look for tomato caterpillars in garden and to look for rubies in North Carolina. The product was well package and a very well designed flashlight. I took it out and tried it on some rubies I had found in the past. The stones turned from a dark brown/black to a bright red when hit with the light. I’m looking forward to going ruby hunting with this flashlight. I’ll test it on the tomato caterpillars this summer. I will have to purchase another one though because my wife tried it and wanted one of her own.

My wife and I live in Henderson Nevada. One issue anyone living in the desert will tell you about is SCORPIONS. The little buggers seem to come out of the wood work. We have a pest company treat both the inside of the house and the outside every month. Occasionally going to the bathroom at night can be an adventure. We bought this UV flashlight because scorpions will glow very bright when lit by UV light. We now keep this flashlight next to the bed and use it when going to the bathroom. Works fantastically well for UV cure fiberglass. Only takes a 5-10 second blast to firm up and 30 seconds to cure. I use this along with a UV laser and a large UV light and have my bases covered for any size project.

No-quality piece of junk ran for 10 seconds and quit working. Don't waste money on this, try a different brand.

I purchased this light to look for scorpions around the house and it works great. Field coverage is pretty good for the price. Sure makes walking around the outside of the house at nite here in Arizona more comfortable.
