Strategize to Win: The New Way to Start Out, Step Up, or Start Over in Your Career Hardcover – December 26, 2014

This book is super helpful to think about my past and future carriers. I felt some skills are very common for new job applications and promotion, but actually I noticed I totally forgot how to think about it. For this sense, this book is useful remainder for my carrier development.

This book is a must-have for your library. If you work in the corporate world, you need this book! If you can afford it, the Audible is excellent as well. Carla lays out several real-world scenarios and provides real-world advice for correcting any mistakes you've made in your career (I almost feel as if this book was written about me). I can't thank the author enough. I wish I had this guide 20 years ago. Better late than never. I will definitely be adding and using Carla's Pearls to my toolkit.

This book is a must read for leaders who want to UP their savvy in negotiating and navigating life in corporate America and all of its politics. Not only do I highly recommend it, I have given this book to coaching clients as a must-read, and to friends who are among the executive ranks of their careers. It is practical and easy to read but do not be fooled. Carla owns this content and presents it like few authors that I have read and I read and facilitate 40+ classes, sessions and discussions each year for the past 15.

If you haven't read any of Carla Harris books before, and need some good career advice, read this. I purchased the kindle and upgraded to the audible to listen on a long car drive. She covers all different kinds of career scenarios and strategies to implement. This is not just another self help book - it has appropriate examples of both good and bad situations with great background and assessments. I recommend this for anyone in any stage of career life - early, mid, high end.

I really really REALLY enjoyed and learned a lot from this book! The greatest thing about it is that Carla lays out the strategies to driving your career that people rarely tell you; its like all the secrets are unmasked in this one book. Even after just one month, I was able to implement some the strategies that Carla laid out in the book - and they have really worked for me! I am a mid-career professional at a Fortune 100 company, but I can see this book resonating with SO many different levels of professionals in various industries. This is definitely a must read for anyone looking to advance their career and navigate their workplace successfully!

I like the experience right from online purchase, delivery to reading the actual book.Keep it up!The book is quite on point especially to those starting but also catches up at some point with those already in a career and gives good tips which adds alot of value to the already experienced fellows.

I just received this cd series in the mail yesterday. It came sooner than estimated time of delivery. CD's sound great! This series has many great nuggets of wisdom/strategies for those that are ready to start out, step up or start over in their career. No matter your age or where you are in life, I'm sure you'll find your blue print.Great Investment!

I like this book becuase it really explains and visualizes the business world. It gives hints and tricks to win. That is a great book for who wants to do business.At least, I understand that is not my world. That was not a right book for me (as a scientist).
