Not Well Designed
The measurement marks on this carafe are inaccurate and I have to pour very slowly or it will dribble down onto the countertop. That makes it a pain in the . . . .

It does the job, but is not equal to the Braun original. It does not handle as well in pouring.

Perfect replacement
An exact replacement for the one I broke after 10 years.The simple Braun coffeemaker I own, and this fits, is not sold in the US now. It is a casualty of US trade policy, some sort of retaliation against foreign trade subsidies. Boo on government.

FITS BRAUN "type 4085"
FYI....I have an old Braun coffee maker. It says "Type 4085" on the bottom. I took a chance and ordered this Universal Carafe. It fitted in the machine. The coffee came out into the carafe perfectly.

New Math I suppose
Have you ever heard of a 4 oz cup? Real cup is 8 oz Usual coffee cup is 6 oz. This carafe uses a FOUR OUNCE MEASURE. Otherwise okay.

Fits Bunn brewer well.
Fit our Bunn brewer very well. Seems a bit more fragile than the broken original carafe, but has a better pouring spout. The level marker are larger than the original also. Very serviceable.
