Fine light-duty grinder for not much money
I bought this a while ago and have used it for about 12-15 pounds of venison sausage so far in small batches. For the money, it seems to be a fine performer. The 3 supplied cutting plates allow the choice of fine, medium, and coarse grinding. I prefer to grind meats coarsely, then add spices, wine and other additions, mix, and re-grind at medium or fine. This seems to result in an excellent sausage with additives well-dispersed throughout. You will find better results from chilling both the meat and the detachable grinder parts before grinding (I've been doing about 30 minutes in the freezer beforehand.)The grinder is noisy while in operation but I expected that. It doesn't move while grinding, and so far hasn't choked on anything, even when I neglected some bits of silverskin in cleaning up the venison beforehand. (The bits of silverskin ended up clustered on the inside of the grinding plate where it was easy to collect and discard.) I have not tried to feed it meat with sizable tendons or sinew and would not be surprised if you had to stop and clean mid-stream if you did that. The sausage-stuffing bits seem to work just fine, I got as much as 8' of casing on it at one go without too much trouble, and it fed just fine with the occasional air coming through if I wasn't consistent enough in feeding the meat in. (I had done some sausage-making before this, but was hardly expert.)All the parts that come in contact with the meat clean up fairly easily, although I do have to work a little harder in getting all the stuff out of the main grinder body. I always clean by hand so I have no knowledge of how it does in the dishwasher. The grinding plates themselves are the only thing that looked to me like they might rust, so I dry them off well, oil them slightly, and keep them separate in a ziplock baggie, and haven't had any trouble with them with that treatment. All together I am impressed by this machine for this very affordable amount of money. If I was grinding up 100 lbs in a week, repeatedly, I might go for a more expensive and powerful version, but I might not. For those of us with lighter duty cycles than that, this is recommended.

Great fat grinder
This grinder is fantastic. We used a hand grinder the first time to grind fat for rendering. I am old and it was very difficult for me. I had to stop and rest half way through. This grinder went through so fast (10 minutes) and made a perfect product for rendering. Freezing the fat and grinder are important.

Whoa impressed...... a must buy
I am very surprised with this little machine. I have done about 100lb of meat and it took me just under three hours to cut, grind and vacuum seal it. This little machine is a monster and it wasn't to troublesome clogging.I think it clogged twice when to much tendon went through but it was easily to disassemble quickly without having to remove all the meat. From the top the sleek design look nice on my counter and drew the attention of a few guests. The button is very simple without anything fancy.Assembly was a breeze!!!! The grinder is broken into three larger components. The machine, the tray and the section that houses the blade. Inside the blade there is a spiral masher, a blade and the plate with holes which all very easily slip together. I could take this thing apart and back together in a matter of seconds and the best part is the blade comes out without having to remove the tray so the meat stays free of to much touching.CLEAN UP IS EFFORTLESS. I simply rinsed it and used a baby bottle scrubber to clean the tube with soap but this thing rinsed out without much need for scrubbing. The machine isn't overwhelming loud it reminds me of tiny car compressor or a hair dryer on the low setting.I noticed the component get warm when in use for awhile so I recommend stopping just to give it a break but this stuff cut through my beef like butter and made beautiful hamburger. My final recommendations are for the price this baby is amazing. I wouldn't know how it would do with bone and I don't plan on using it for that purpose. Just eyeballing it I probably wouldn't try and just invest in a commercial one at that point. Finally before each use turn on the machine without anything inside and splash some salad or olive oil in it. I noticed it helps when a lot of fat goes through it doesn't stress the motor as much.
