My 15 year old dog is practically deaf and was very depressed because she thought I had stopped talking to her. I had tried getting a megaphone, one that requires batteries, but it was way over the top and distorted my voice,which disturbed her. This little megaphone is perfect! If I speak in front of her, she can easily hear me with this toy megaphone. She is happier and more alert since she knows now that I am not ignoring her. I told a friend about this who has a 16 year old near-deaf Jack Russell terrier, and another who has a deaf cat, and ordered this little megaphone for them. This should be perfect even for someone with a hard-of-hearing parent or spouse. It carries farther than you think, is well-made, and you can carry it around with the attached string,which is quite long. I am delighted with it.

This megaphone is more of toy or novelty gift, than a functional tool. It is made of very durable plastic and does project your voice when you yell into. However, it is not large enough or loud enough to work as an actual megaphone. I purchased it to go into a gift basket for a budding film maker. It was a great addition to the other items included in the basket and it is a great novelty gift on its own.

DISHONEST COMPANY! Now the title says 6 inches but when i bought it i had to go by the Product Dimensions that still say 8 x 8 x 4.2 inches.this thing isn't even 6 inches no matter how you measure it. Top to bottom it's 5 and 5/8, even along the side it's only 5 and 3/4 top to bottom.I don't like dishonest companies with dishonest advertising.

This saved me when I had almost lost my voice! I could finally be heard when talking on the phone. Though it's a prop, it works fine to echo your voice in a living room or kitchen. I liked being able to hang it from my neck and sometimes from my wrist. Highly recommend.

Meine Tochter (1,5 Jahre) war erst skeptisch was das fürn Teil ist. Als sie es dann aber geschnallt hat gings los. Mit großen getöse durch die Wohnung. Kann man auch Nachbarskindern schenken wenn man mit den Eltern noch ne rechnung offen hat.
