Da Bomb
I started to play guitar years ago and while I’m heading for the ”okay” class guitar player status, I learn something new everyday, just not always re: guitars. In fact, I really wanted to be Gene Autry, but after some lessons, the Beatles hit America and Gene, sorry to say, fell by the wayside. Anyway, I’ve been acoustic for years since Gene, but decided to go electric this year - good enough for Bob, good enough for me. Found a nice little amp, then I had to find a nice little cable. I never realized what a good cable entailed - it was like going back to school again. Noise suppression, tactile handling, capacitance, impedance, outpedance, multipedance, etc, etc, ad naseum. After learning all that high science kind of stuff, deciding what a good cable was, cyphering out what would work best, the life expectancy of cables, and whether to go naked or go with a braided cover, I made my decision.I chose a Spectraflex cable, because it hit all the marks for everything listed above (and some more stuff not listed). And, to my way of thinking, it was the best looking cable, also and too. That red & black lampshade pattern just knocked my socks off, and like a kid, I’ve been using it every day since I got it. In fact, I liked it so much, I went to the Spectraflex website and bought another cable, this one a plain black braided cable. (Amazon didn’t offer it in plain black.) Just goes to show what I think is good looking. After all I learned, the Spectraflex cables are excellent cables at a very, very decent price. Now all I have to figure out is how to patch the looper to the amp

I've been using this brand for years...
I love this guitar cable. Out of every cable I've purchased in 25+ for instruments this one has never let me down. It's durable and doesn't get all dirty if you step on it and it's easy to wipe down if you do happen to get it a bit dusty or dirty.I've never had one give out on me or have the outer layer tear like with other cables.I HIGHLY recommend!

Boy, this is way better.
Don't take this as gospel as I own two electric guitars. Years ago in my divorced period I screwed around with a guitar & a 15 watt amp. Somewhere I got a 20 or so foot cable and commenced to my noise making. All sorts of electric sounding pops and hums would start & stop. I figured that was the way amplifiers sounded. Period. My single coil pickups fighting with all the other plugged in things I thought. I decided to get serious about practicing a few months ago And sitting there looking down at the floor at that old black and abused chord got me to thinking. So After perusing the internet I bought the Spectraflex cable. They even have colors. Not that that means anything but hell I am partial to the black & red. Well This cord keeps everything sounding velvety quiet be it double coil , single coil, even with all manner of other things plugged in around the area. I am vert happy with this cord & it looks very cool as well.

nice cables !!!!
I've got two of these and I'm so impressed, I've decided to replace my entire collection of cords with this brand.Reason #1 : they perform great, sound is great, even when they do tangle up they are easier to un-tangle than rubber jacket cords because they don't "stick" to them selves or other cords in your bag, or on the floor.Reason#2: you can order them in various colors & lengths so you can configure them for specific locations... a.k.a you can then reach into your gear bag and "know" exactly which cord to grab for what connection in your gear train.Reason#3: not everybody has them, so you know which cords are yours at the end of a gig...Reason#4: they are just way more cool than boring old black rubber jacketed cords !the downside: they are so way cool, that you'll have to keep an eye on them, so they don't grow legs !!They make signal, speaker & microphone cords.... I'm getting all of them !!!! they are a great deal.

Great Cable
I needed a longer cable, and I was looking for good quality without breaking the bank. I read lots of reviews about the super expensive cables that supposedly made a drastic improvement in the sound from the instrument, and I checked out the endless varieties of cables available from all the online music retailers who sell the high end cables as well as the el-cheapo ones. I wasn't familiar with Spectraflex, and you won't find their products on sale from your usual music retailers. So I checked out their website, and I was impressed with their offerings and the fact that their only business is making cables, and maybe also that they don't mass market. This cable is not their top of the line, but it works great (I think I can honestly say it sounds a little bit better than my other quality cable that is half its length). I would not hesitate to buy another Spectraflex cable. In my opinion they make an excellent product at a reasonable price.

Great buy, just do it.
Very good. Normal budget guitar cables are a little buzzy, but spend the extra couple of bucks for the complete shield. Do not confuse an instrument cable for a speaker cable. Speaker cable is designed to handle high watts and are usually thicker, these are designed to minimize interference and deliver your true sound to your board or amp. They are also super flexible and durable. I step all over these during gigs and haven't had a problem yet. I run my guitar into a Pod HD500x then run the mono out to the back of a QSC K12 powered PA speaker for my "amp". Both of these cables are Spectraflex. Totally awesome rig, and I have confidence my cables are one less thing to worry about.

These are very high quality cables and an excellent value given their price
These are very high quality cables and an excellent value given their price. They are quiet, well built, virtually tangle free and look cool (which was at least worth a mention in my mind). I'm not sure there is an enormous (or even detectable in a band mix) difference in sound from one cable to another no matter what anyone claims, but I can say that these cables don't do anything to take away from or n muddy up what my bass guitar is putting out. Over the last 40 years of playing I've used about every brand of cable and these are certainly up there with any top tier cable you can name.

Having used these leads before but had them stolen I wanted to replace them. This was every bit as good as the ones I had and would highly recommend.
