Fun scarf and hat. The hat is is thicker than expected which is nice. Was concerned this would be only "fashionable" vs. "practical" but it's both.

I purchased this set as a gift for a friend. When I received the set, I loved the colors and the texture of the yarn. However, there were a number of places where the yarn was "tied off" throughout the scarf and the knots were poking out. There were a few places where the yarn ends were not woven into the stitches. Luckily, I know how to crochet and knit and I could easily fix both of these problems. If I would not have been able to fix these two things, the gift would have been ruined. I received this set at a discounted price in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. The opinions expressed are my own.

Granddaughter birthday gift. She loved it.

::::::::::I ordered this for my daughter in law. I really liked the pictures but was concerned when it arrived that it would be too blingy for her. The flowers on both the scarf and hat are very big. My first instincts were right though and she loved it. She looks so cute in it too when she puts it on. She is in her early 20's and I think it is just the right age group, anyone from their tweens through 20's would look great in this. Anyone else who really has a way of carrying things off and/or has a natural flair would really look good in this too.The yarn is very thick and the color seems to be true to what is pictured in the product description. I tried it on myself and liked how it felt, with some wear I thought it would become even softer. The hat seemed a tiny bit small for my larger than average head, but it fit her perfectly. She knew just how to put it on so it looked cute, I could have played in front of the mirror for hours and never got that look right.The scarf is a nice length, she could wear it around her neck and have it drape down the front too. I have no idea what the perfect length for a scarf is, that sounds like a job for Google. I'm pretty disappointed with the scarf and beanie I received. It is not at all like the one pictured in the listing. This was intended to be a Christmas gift for my mother-in-law but it has WAY more bling on it than the one in the picture and they were falling off before I even got the set out of the packaging. The flower is a completely different shape and the colors are also very different. The set was held together with a plastic piece, like what a store uses to affix a price tag to a piece of clothing, and the plastic piece pulled the yarn and has caused a loop. Instead of a more subtle, sweet flower on the side of your head, this one is HUGE and heavy and the matching one on the scarf makes it difficult to loop it through as it is worn in the picture. If I had seen this in a store, I would've passed over it, unfortunately. The only perk I see to this set is that they are both thick and soft.I received this scarf and beanie set at a discount for my unbiased and honest review.UPDATE: Since posting this review, the picture of the red beanie/scarf set has now been changed in the listing to reflect what I was sent.

this is a very attractive hat/scarf set! They laundered well and look great!
