Festival Lemon juices, Concentrate Plastic Bottle, 32-Ounce (Pack of 12)

To alleviate the concerns of the many people who have been misled with bulk offerings here on Amazon, I can attest that each time I have purchased this item I have received 12 individual bottles of 32oz Lemon Juice.One walk through the aisles of a grocery store with an eye on the pricing will tell you that when you can get this lemon juice from 15-17 bucks for the 12-pack, it is a gem of a bargain and very much worth the purchase. However, the musical prices on this site sometimes makes the pricing tough to stock up on this.We use a lot of lemon juices when we make our seasonal confections (biscotti, cookies, scones, etc). This lemon juice has a wonderfully strong flavoring for those purposes.When funds are low and kid visits are high, having this Lemon Juice always on hand saves the day! Nobody wants to be the Mom who only ever offers water. I want to do that, mind you, but offering a choice of lemon flavored water or a controlled amount of sugar-infused lemonade feels a little more balanced.Hot tea with lemon? Heck YEAH! This fits just right, especially with the mint tea varieties. YUMFor those who imbibe, this juice also makes a truly flavorful Whisky/Bourbon Sour. When mixed just right, it almost has coconut tones.There IS NO coconut in the juice, though.The ingredients are:Lemon Juice (Water, Lemon Juice Concentrate), Citric Acid, Metabisulfate, Sodium Benzoate (Preservative) & Lemon Oil.This is a product of PeruThere is a reason why many of the other brands of lemon juices on the market have a more opaque bottle and it is a mystery why Festival chooses not to do the same. Maybe they want to remind their customers to shake the bottle before use. Who knows! For those lemon juice users who are used to the all green bottles, you should be warned of chunks of lemon residue that sink to the bottom as it may freak you out. It is fine. I have purchased 5 cases of this Lemon Juice so far, and have not keeled over nor have been disappointed with any bottle of this brand.

We purchase this to use in our dishwasher along with some white vinegar, to keep the dishes from having white streaking. It works well for that purpose. I have used it in recipes when we were out of fresh lemons, and the taste was decent although not nearly as good as fresh. I would use it occasionally for that purpose. Our last shipment (we have it on Subscribe and Save) contained bottles that were due to expire within 2 months of receiving them. If I used this for cooking I would have returned them, but we rarely use it for that, so I kept it.

UPDATE: The juice is bad. Opened bottle & it smells bad & juice is brown. Opened 2nd bottle to see if its just the 1st one & that one is also brown and smells. Received sealed box inside amazon shipping box. Opened it & there are only 11 bottles of lemon juice when I ordered 12.

I use this to flavor my sparkling water. I wish the bottles were glass, but ordering from Amazon helps me in my life style at the moment. I like having a cabinet full of lemon juice bottles that have been delivered to my doorstep; therefore I am not concerned with running out. :-) It is a good price to be delivered.

I use a lot of lemon juice - for coating bananas, potatoes and apples before dehydrating (it keeps them from turning brown), in seltzer water as a beverage, sprinkled on cooked spinach and collard greens, and on chili as a condiment.This brand is every bit as good as RealLemon, taste-wise. It's tart and lemony, but not bitter. Having 12 bottles delivered free (with Amazon SuperSaver Shipping for orders over $25) is convenient and easy for me. I chose "supscribe and save" option and saved an additional 15% on the price. This makes it the same price as store brand lemon juice.The only criticism I have of this juice is that the bottles have screw-off lids and not flip-tops. That's not a big deal, but it does mean I need two hands to use it. Edited to add: I discovered that the flip-top lids from RealLemon juice bottles also fit on these bottles. It's so much easier to flip the top to pour and not have to set everything down to use two hands!Edited March 2012 to add: I bought this product for $17-something the first two times. I was just notified by Amazon that my latest automatic shipment would cost $27, so I cancelled it. It's good lemon juice, but not THAT good.

I usually get the Realemon juice in the 32 ounce size. The Festival was about $5.00 less per case of 12. However, there is a bitter taste that I have not been able to get used to, after using 3 bottles. I have discontinued my subscribe and save subscription for this product and would not recommend it,

This lemon juice is just as good as "Real Lemon" and cost much less. I love to make lemonade and it gets expensive to keep it stocked up from the Grocery Store. I bought a case of this not knowing what to expect but I have to say I have been VERY happy with this. I use it for cooking and drinking and I think it's just great. I will continue to use this brand of lemon juice.

Can't beat the price. The flavor is good, not great. My only complaint is that occasionally a case will come that has the character that lemon juice gets if it sits in your pantry for too long, almost a brown color and loss of flavor instead of the bright yellow and tanginess you would expect.
