I have a huge brush collection of pretty expensive brushes and I wanted a case that was compact and would carry most of my brushes I'd use on a regular basis. After owning several brush rolls and tubes, I realized it wasn't how I wanted to carry my brushes. I hate that brush rolls caused dents in the hairs of some of my more fine natural hair brushes (grey squirrel hair brushes), and brush tubes didn't hold the brushes in place and I hated the idea that my brushes would be hitting up against the roof of the brush tube if it was traveling in my suitcase.This was perfect. It holds a lot of brushes, some brush slots fit 3-4 small brushes. I love that it holds the brushes in place and because the bag has a little bit of structure, the brush hairs weren't being distorted. There's also a great mesh pouch that can be detached. I'll use it when I'm traveling and need to store more items. But when I'm not traveling, I remove the mesh pouch because the extra space between the two sides of the brush bag helps avoid the bristles from pushing up against other brushes.

I love the overall design of this brush organizer. Unlike many of the comments I've read about other people's experiences with the zipper, my brush organizer arrived in perfect condition. I have not had any issues with the zipper YET. The quality of the material is not high quality but it will definitely last for a few years. This was my affordable alternative to the Laura Mercier Artist Portfolio. I may do a blog post on this... Stay tuned

Got this to store my daughter's stage makeup brushes. We tried another case, but the handles were too large. This case securely holds brushes of varying sizes from big kabuki brushes with chunky handles to thin eye and lip brushes. The zippered pouch is perfect for holding a small bottle of MAC brush cleanser. Couldn't ask for more.

Love this. I am using it for daily storage of my brushes and for travel. Holds quite a bit. Must have one of these.
