A lot of people have complained about the Velcro on this cover. I've been using this for about a week now with my new baby, and I seriously love this--the pillow AND the cover! The cover is so soft and comfy, and I have chosen to just wash it inside out (even though it says to buckle it) and by itself and I haven't had problems. I washed it once with other things (some towels and stuff) and it was totally fine. Yes, the Velcro is rough and there probably could have been a better way to make the buckle adjustable, but to be honest, it is totally worth it. I haven't had it ruin any clothes, and it's only caught on my baby's blanket once (and it didn't even really do anything to it). In my opinion, this is a much better option than the other lower quality covers that seem to come apart easily and don't protect at all against liquids (mostly breast milk in my case). This cover has been great!

The color light grey is definitely grey. In the picture, it appears more neutral and beige/ivory, but upon receiving it, it is darker grey. This is the reason I took off 1 star. The material is very soft and washed well in a laundry mesh bag. I don’t know why people complain about the Velcro strap. You only have to adjust it once, and then you clip it on and off with each use. It doesn’t bother me. This soft cover will be perfect for my baby in Winter months.

I like how soft and fuzzy it is but the method of tightening/ loosening being velcro instead of an adjustable strap like my original cover that came with the Brest Friend is terrible, at least for my needs. I can't adjust it while my baby is on it because it's incredibly loud and if i leave any exposed it's scratchy on my legs. I also find the zipper very sharp against my leg compared to the original. Still love the pillow and this will do when my other one needs you be washed but definitely not as useable for me.

This cover is soft and made well, but the velcro is no joke on this and tore up the fabric on the chair in my nursery. I adjusted the Velcro strap to fit my waist and the extra that is on the cover ripped up the fabric on the rocking chair I have in the nursery. I am so bummed. Not the makers fault, but beware if you tighten the breast friend to fit your waist that the exposed Velcro will grab onto anything it touches - your clothes, the baby's clothes, fabric, etc.

I was a little surprised when I opened the box, the orchid color is a delicate violet rather than a soft pink. It’s a very nice shade so it was a pleasant surprise for me, but thought I’d include that in my review for any one who just HAS to have a pinky pink. The quality is good and I had no problems getting it on my nursing pillow. I really love how soft the fabric is, and the handy pouch. This cover has given my old nursing pillow a new life.

I like its material better than original cover because it's soft but I'm hating the Velcro! It's such a hassle to adjust the size and makes lots of noise!I bought this to be used as regular and original cover is going to be used as back up when this one is in the wash.Original cover designed much better without Velcro to adjust to be honest.

Works great, has a velcro attachment for the way it clips together once it's around you. It's not my favorite way to get it on and off but the fabric is really comfortable and a little thicker and much softer than the other cover I have for mine (black and white patterned one). Definitely recommend for cooler months

Looks more grey than taupe but it is super soft and baby loves to lay on it while eating. The color is less important than comfort.

WHY would they put the hook side of the Velcro on the pillow instead of the detachable strap? Why!? This stupid cover catches on EVERYTHING. I am constantly having to peel sweaters, blankets, all fabrics off of this infernal pillow cover. I have another of the same fabric, different brand, and it doesn't create problems because the hook side of the velcro is on the strap.

Fits perfectly, great color and SO soft for baby! Highly recommend!
