Read the Directions : Blooms but no peppers
I purchased this in February and have a beautiful small tree that continues to bloom but never produces peppers. When I finally called Aerogarden to see what the issue is I found it I need to pollinate the plant and prune it. Just be sure to read the directions!

It Works
This is my second kit - the first was the herbs that come with the grower. This one works very well, though the plant looks like it would prefer more space. The leaves at the very top are getting killed by the lamp, but it's producing several peppers. I've eaten one so far, there are probably 5-6 growing right now. All in all - a fun experiment, and useful if you want to grow fresh food in the winter. The actual grower can be loud. I keep it in a closet/storage room.

Well....
The plant is doing well. Well now the draw backs, one: to pricey at $15, Two: as noted in the good comment I said "plant" only one plant in the box not three. Three: the fertilizer was old and starting to crystallize. Would not recommend this seller. Was very disappointed.

Its germinating at last!
Any plant I have ever bought has always died. So its kinda nice to see new life, from a seed in my home, in my house. It says 8-14 days germination and at the 5th-6th day with no sign of life at all I was beginning to worry but here now on day 10 it is in fact germinating. The nutrient packets came in good order, well marked; 2 packets at 4ml for initial growth/germination and another 9 or so at 5.5ml for the ensuing months.Keep in mind you only get one (1) seed, not 3 as I had thought. Plugs are included to seal off the other 2 holes not being used and a dome to cover the seed as it germinates. Also, I want to say in the time it has taken to germinate could be reduced in a warmer environment. 66-70 degrees indoors is pleasant when its winter time outside, but I still think seeds would prefer an 85 degree temp to germinate. As I said, it did still germinate, just took a bit longer.

Very Dissapointed
First off, I was immediately dissapointed to find ONLY ONE seed pod in the box.Following the directions printed on the insert, 10 weeks later I have a 12 inch plant with NO fruit/flower budding. I am so dissapointed that I wasted my money on this...Not only with the kit, but with the electricity to run my AeroGarden as well...Stick with the Herb Kits or the flower kits...At least they produce a bounty. The Tomato and Pepper kits have failed misserably for me.

AeroGarden Jalapeno Pepper Seed Kit (3-Pod)
I LOVE my AeroGarden and was in need of a new seed kit. I could not be more pleased with this one. Takes w few weeks before you actually see something resembling a plant, but it really takes off when it gets going! Just waiting on a pepper to sprout :)

No fruit :(
I got lots and lots of flowers and growth, the looked beatufil and healty, not a single one actually grew a jalapeno though. I got a ton of blossom drop. I may try again some day, but it was disapointing to invest so much time.
