BLESSUMESteampunk Victorian Frock Coat Colonial Men Jacket

i was concerned buying this online because i've had issues with sizes in the past with other sellers, but this fits perfectly if your measure yourself and buy based on the measurements provided.This coat looks and feels great, to the point where i am comfortable wearing this to work and formal occasions because of its sheer awesomeness. The buttons work but this is meant to be worn unbottoned (because the coat is tucked in such a way where the edge of the coat doesn't bang up against your knees, just like how these coats were made back in the day). Just as a heads up, there isn't any actual pockets; it's basically just a flap that makes it look like a pocket, but i didn't care about that.

I realized I couldn’t expect a high quality product given the price, but I wouldn’t have purchased it if I’d known it was such poor quality. The fabric reminds me of a cheap satin nightgown. He didn’t plan to wear the coat, so I can’t speak to fit. We planned to display it in a room decorated in the American Revolution War period. My husband wants to display it regardless of the poor quality. I don’t.

If you want to pull off the colonial look and don't need reenactment quality, this will work. It's surprisingly well made for the price. I'm not sure how it will hold up over time but its also NOT everyday wear.

Jacket fit true to size and it completed my costume. I received a lot of compliments

I bought two of these for a costume in a video, it will work but its not reenactment quality. It is however, a pretty good value for the price.

Slightly disappointed as I was encouraged to order larger. I had to wait a long time to receive as it came from China. I now have to pay to have the sleeves shortened and also have it taken in. All in all not a bad product.

If you wear a 38 - 40 regular, it fits great through the shoulders, but don't expect to be able to button it up. Other than that, it's a very nice piece of costuming.

It’s more like a thick shirt than a coat. It’s not lined and has no interfacing or anything to make it hold its shape. Maybe coats in that time period were like that (I’m not an expert) but it didn’t look good.

I ordered Large. Should have gotten Extra Large. Don't remember if this was an option or not.

Questo indumento è bello e l’ho tenuto, ma non è affatto un cappotto. È una specie di spolverino leggerissimo che si chiude solo nei bottoni alti. Quindi attenzione, acquistatelo solo se quel che vi ho descritto è di vostro interesse.
