The Ilex Wood - All-Natural Skin Balm - Boo Boo Balm - For skin irritation, scrapes, bites and stings, cruelty free, plastic free, handmade in the UK - 100ml

There are three products in this offering: 1) Calendula salve. I am a regular user of calendula products, especially in the cooler month, as I get dry and itchy skin at that time of year. This salve works very well, it is a firm product swirling your fingers over the surface leaves a thin oily balm on your fingers - massaging this balm into skin the oiliness disappears quite quickly and and after only a few uses the dryness and itchiness is much reduced. 2) Dandelion and Rosemary salve. I have been using this as a hand salve. It is much softer than the calendula salve - a gentle push on the surface of the product allows you to take small quantity. Using on damp, freshly washed hands it moisturises and protects. I like the scent too - its not particularly strong but is fresh and uplifting. 3) BooBoo Balm. This is another calendula based product and I have been using it exclusively on my face. Just tiny amounts to protect my skin from the colder weather. I have also used it on my nose when I had a cold - it really helped minimise the whole "Rudolph" look I normally sport when I have a cold. All in all I am very happy with this trio of products. The tins (recyclable aluminium) hold 100ml of product and the products have a six month lifespan once opened. I am not sure I will be able to finish the product in this time span but when I get to the end of that time I shall use them as all over body moisturisers so as to use every last bit. I'm happy to have found The Ilex Wood and happily recommend these products.

This is a little tin of awesomeness! I have been struggling with really itch sore shins for a few years now and have been to the docs numerous times. I’ve tried steroid creams, itch relief creams, all sorts and nothing seems to stop the itching. Then I came across this little miracle. As soon as I feel the itch, I slather this on and it stops the itch and my rash on my leg is finally starting to clear up. It smells gorgeous and arrives in a little cute tin that can be used again, will most definitely buy again and will try other products they have too 😊

I had tied all sorts of natural remedies for underarm soreness which was quite extreme. An allergy to something in the garden I think. Nothing had really helped until I remembered something my Grandfather used long ago. He was a pharmacist in the 1920’s - Callendula. A very old and powerful herb but also very gentle on the skin. No side effects like modern creams. I wasn’t expecting to find such a balm, then the Ilex Wood one just appeared on Amazon! It immediately soothed the irritation and has been my go to antiseptic soothing cream since then.

Lovely product. Smells amazing and really helped soothe my daughter’s skin. I would not say it cleared her eczema but defo helped soothe it. The whole family now use it.

We use this for all kinds for boo boo, works well like the african Shea butter. No skin irritation or negativit. This’s the 2nd time I bought this. It’s odourless but when it stays too long, changes colour & smells like old oil.

This product has cleared my perioral dermatitis in 2 days! I first purchased this as part of the mini travel set collection, to take away with me, I was particular interested in Calendula as mosi's don't like it very much. However I found all of the salves great in their own way and very useful while travelling. But the big discovery about the Calendula Salve was this... I have been blessed most of my life with great skin, until I hit menopause my great skin became patchy and hard to moisturise, it was dry in places and oily in others, it had also taken a disliking to the sun and sunscreen products. I tried so many moisturisers it was unreal, I either broke out in spots or was having to moisturise 3 or 4 times a day because my skin was dry. Then I went away and forgot to take the moisturiser and decided to use the Calendula salve to try and keep my skin moisturised! Wow what a discovery, my skin loves it, it appears to be able to moisturise the dry bits and calm the oily bits it is fab. I have used it ever since (on my 3rd large tin). I use a small amount as a base now and moisturise as usual over it, it really is fabulous and I think my wrinkles are less deep than they were! Great product, good job!!

Great product, i tried many creams and ointments for my lumps amd bumps that inches too much, this one fixed it. Very happy with it.

Tous les étés j'ai des boutons et des inflammations à cause de la chaleur, cela fait 1 semaine que je l'utilise et il m'a beaucoup aidé à réduire les blessures et à empêcher l'apparition d'autres boutons qui me complexent 🥰 J'utilisais du spray à la citronnelle les étés précédents mais avec toute l'huile qu'ils y rajoutent ma peau ne le supportait plus et me rajoutait encore plus de boutons... Le baume est parfait pour ça, les vieux remèdes sont toujours les meilleurs comme on dit 👍
