Must have for your golf bag if your shoes have removable spikes.
I honestly didn't expect much from a $10 wrench. But this tool works wonderfully! Before i used a pair of needle nose pliers to remove and replace spikes in my golf shoes. Now that I've started to develop arthritis in my hands, that doesn't work so well anymore, plus the needle nose would tear up the cleats so they couldn't be reused in a pinch. So i bought this tool. The ease of it is impressive. Took me less than 5 minutes to remove and replace all spikes in both shoes. I keep wondering why i waited so long to buy one of these. As one of the other reviewers said, when putting the spikes in the shoes, turn them until they click, then keep turning to the 2nd click to make sure they're properly secured. Also, the attachments are not very easy to get into the tool. Compared to putting a screwdriver bit into a typical screwdriver, it's about 5 times as hard. I had to force my attachments in the tool a few times before they wore down enough they're fairly easy to insert and remove now.

This tool is awesome
First I tried getting my old soft spikes off of my ecco golf shoes with a two pronged spike tool, all that did was rip center of the spike. Then I watched youtube and people were saying to drill 2 screws into the spike and then twist it off with a long nosed plier. That didn't seem like a good idea, my eccos were expensive and I didn't want to accidentally drill into the sole of the shoe and never be able to install another spike. Then I found this on Amazon, so I gave it a try. It work great. The soft spikes twist right off this tool. Easy off, easy on. It's a keeper.

Good, Not Great
I am 99% certain mine is defective. It came with no instructions so I assume it's fairly easy use, but when I try to put one of the ends in, it doesn't lock in or anything. In fact, it barely goes in at all. I am able to unscrew this little black thing, but don't understand the purpose of that. Also, the little switch that lets you flip between tightening and loosening is super hard to flip back and forth. Long story short, I love Amazon and they hardly do wrong by me, but this time I feel as though I was robbed like $10 or $15 bucks. No big deal, still love Amazon, just got the wrong golf spike wrench I suppose! Happy shopping shoppers!UPDATE: Turns out I am just not the brightest bulb in the chandelier and just needed to push really hard (I am week so it probably isn't very hard for most people) to get the tips in. It is a good tool, gets the job done, only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I still don't understand the point of unscrewing the black thing and I feel like they should allow the butt of the screw to be storage for the unused tips.

This is it
This is it. This wrench gripped my old spikes and got them out cleanly. I could feel the good amount of heft to the solidly constructed metal, and knew this would do the job. I had spikes break and fall apart when using a different wrench and this took them right out too.

Slam Dunk Spike Remover
An efficient tool I've employed on multiple occasions. I've used all three attachments for removal and installation of golf shoe spikes. All actions were met with great success.Based on my experiences, I will offer a few tips.- If you're met with difficulty in removing two-prong spikes (e.g. prongs keep popping out, spike not turning) ensure at least 1/2 (if not more) of the prongs total length is down in the spike. I discovered that underneath the old spikes, there was embedded dirt and such. In order to clear the debris from the spikes, I took a 5/64 or 3/32 drill bit and cleaned the holes where the prongs are inserted. Be careful to not go too deep and of course, wear proper safety attire. Once the slots were clean the tool's prongs (once inserted into the spike) were barely visible and viola', the spike(s) came right out.- Once the spikes are removed, I clean the areas with a wire brush and then place a dab of graphite (or similar) lubricant in the shoe's thread receptacle. Subsequent removals are a snap.

Works great
I had a pair of Callaway golf shoes on the shelf for 5yrs because I couldn't get the golf spikes out of them. I actually broke 2 spike removal tools on them. I've been wearing nonspike golf shoes since. I saw this product & bought it. It worked great. It's a torque wrench and I had no problems removing the old spikes. I'm back to wearing spiked golf ⛳️ shoes.

Miles better than the garbage kit from softspikes
Miles better than the plastic tool that comes with the Softspikes replacement kit. The crappy little green tool doesn't provide enough torque to successfully lock in the cleats, they kept coming out just from walking around. With this tool, I was able to get the 2 clicks needed to properly secure the cleats and have yet to look back. 10/10 would recommend. When removing cleats, soak the bottom of the shoes in water for 10 mins to let all the dirt loosen up. After that, you will have a much easier time removing the cleats. Otherwise, you'll end up striping the cleats and need to drill or break the cleat to remove it. Don't be a fool, just let them soak for a few mins.
