The battery has alot longer life , yes , but the fit and finish of the product is terrible!!! The battery does not in anyway click or stay in the phone like the factory battery, and the case only snaps in 2 places. I've had this battery for a month now and something as simple as tossing your phone on the couch or in your car seat the battery door does not stay on. This is on my s5 active from at&t. And yes it will give you a solid day of power but it takes forever to charge on a stock out the box samsung charger!....3/ 2017Update so a solid year of owning this case and same battery I can say shes made me proud. Battery finally started to expand and get hot.... Had many of good memories with this old girl. Might buy again if I could just buy the battery. Hell for using the same battery for a year I should get a free one lol

The battery is great and I actually like the feel of the phone when it comes to weight and thickness.My only complaint is the back cover doesn't seem to fit tight and the phone slid oout of my pocket onto the floor and the battery and back cover plopped off.It is definitely not water resistant as I can push on the back cover and see it isn't sealed properly.I plan to use some adhesive caulk or aquarium sealer and put a little bead around the edge where it is supposed to seal and snap the cover back on.

I figured this would make a small difference, but, wow, what a difference it made!! I was using 60 to 70% of the stock battery per day. I didn't use it very much, but, I could almost watch the % going down while just setting there. Now, I have been testing the new one and I have had it off the charger and used it some. It is now reading 56% after almost 5 days!! Very happy...

Really makes a difference, cell with normal use holds charge for 2 days easy.. Only complaint is if you drop your phone, battery is heavy and will knock of cover and damage the the plastic clips on the cover eventually the cover wont hold and remain secure... I even dropped it once and the battery damaged my micro sd card... But that is my fault and ordered additional covers... would buy this for any cell i own...

Water resistant my butt. The very first time my phone got wet with this friggin thing on it, it let the water right on in which destroyed my s5 active. This is the same phone that I have used with the original cover and battery to take underwater pictures. I have an extremely expensive paperweight now thanks to this worthless piece of junk cover. At least I had the pleasure of paying $90 for the battery and cover that spelled the death of my phone. I'm pissed beyond reason right now. Don't buy this. Better a dead battery than a dead phone.

awesome get double the life. It does freeze time to time when I plug in the charger. minor inconvenience for extended battery life.

The included back cover is a little ominous at first but easy to get used to. It seals well and actually feels more secure than the original. Battery life is great and extends usage at least 2.5 times the factory rating. Discharge is much more linear, no sudden surprise drop offs in power.
