Stable Where Jesus Was Born

This is a good book but you get the feeling that until about the middle of the book you need to read each page then go backwards reading the page before it (which is what I do). Then at the middle of the book it is the that part of the poem and every page before it but with new illustrations. And the little ones love the pictures. The story is great and the little ones enjoy hearing and have even begun reading the last phase with me "in the stable where Jesus was born"

This is a delightful, rhyming Christmas story for young children. My 2.5 year old loved it, and I believe it will be a favorite for years to come. The story focuses on the events and setting surrounding Jesus' birth in a manner that can be understood by even the youngest listeners. Also, this is a story that I did not tire of reading and re-reading - an important factor for me in selecting children's books.

Nice addition to our Christmas collection

Beautifully illustrated, with its emphasis on the ban yard animals, this book tells the nativity story in a fashion that will appeal to young children (2-8).
