Best caulking gun EVER! To be fair, I saw this used and recommended on a you tube DIY video. I like the guy and his trim carpentry advice, so I took a chance and bought this caulking gun. It is AWESOME! No drip, that's a fact. Easy to use, comfortable hand grips and the BEST PART is that it only costs $12 bucks!! I have purchased other caulking guns in the past from the big box stores and they said they were dripless, yada, yada. They were total crap and I paid far more than I paid for this one. If you do a lot of caulking, adhesive work or any other "tube squeezing activities" you need this gun!

I usually can't use caulkers because I 1) have small hands and limited grip strength, and 2) don't have a clue about their specific use and how to use them. HOWEVER, this was easy after some research and learning. Even though I still used this one for the wrong application, I was still able to operate it with a peanut butter like adhesive. I strongly believe if I had used the right level of caulker, it would have been a breeze.I'm a 5'4" small-frame female with a narly grip for being able to fit into a youth size football or baseball glove. This caulking gun was comfortable, well-balanced and made the job possible for me to do myself. I definitely recommend, but be sure it's rated for the material you will be using.

Holy cow is this thing nice. I’m 51 years old and have used caulk guns as long as I can remember this thing is truly the next evolution so smooth they’d have to panic about a big drip coming out of the end of it. Wish I had it 15 years ago highly recommend without reservation. Caio

This does seem to work better than the old caulk gun I had, but doesn’t make it as easy as the video I saw. Probably need more practice. The built in piercer is nice, wouldn’t recommend using the built in cutting tip for anything but imprecise jobs. The attached finish tools are also handy to have on the gun.

This is really a well made caulking gun. I was very surprised when it showed up just how stout the materials are and how well it functions. Well worth the money.

The media could not be loaded. After using a regular caulking gun for years, I was skeptical this product would be notably better but IT IS. Standard caulking guns require me to release the pressure on the caulk tube even after I release the trigger to avoid the release of caulk. When I release the trigger on the Newborn Octogun, the caulk flow actually stops, hence the no-drip.I can't tell you how many times I would forget to release the pressure on the tube only to look back and see a pile of wasted caulk that I would then have to clean up.• I used on: Trim, windows, bathroom tile, toilet seals (Used both 100% silicone and regular caulk)• Product as described: Yes• Quality: High• Packaging: Ok.• Responses to other reviews: There is no learning curve for this product BUT there is a learning curve for caulking. Best caulk gun I have ever used. Won't buy anything else. It addresses every problem I've ever had with other guns
