When this arrived as something in shrink-wrapped plastic, I wondered what would it be. Sure enough, it was a hat as advertised, and it had flaps. With the flaps inside the hat or outside to cover my ears, the hat fits well. Those flaps could extend a little lower to cover my ears more completely, but they are better than not having them. In a light rain, the hat keeps my head from getting wet. It is recommended for those who like this type of hat.

Its very comfortable to wear and stays on even when windy. The ear muffs cover the ears nicely, and when folded up, you'll never know they're there. High quality fabric and well made. The crown of the hat can snap down or be left unsnapped creating a little more head room.

Quality looks fine for the price but I ordered a 2xl based on description and my careful measurements and it is too big. I wear a 7-3/8 to a 7-1/2 and the 2xl is too big.The material looks a bit warm for Spring and Fall where I live but I guess that’s subjective. It would be a winter cap for me.

Fit the circumference of my husband's head, but it is not flattering. The front sticks out so far. If you haven't worn this style of hat before, you will want to find a way to try one before you buy. Otherwise, the hat seems well made. Not sure how much the flap will truly keep ears warm though.

Nice cap. Very nice material. Fits well, but a little smaller than expected. I went up one size and could have gone up another size. This size fits snug so no worries about it falling off or the wind blowing it off.

It's 100% perfect. It's comfortable, it's warm and it was inexpensive too. A real quality buy for the money. Couldn't be happier.

The one I received was compressed in what appeared to be vacuum sealed plastic. It was flat and wrinkled. (Don’t panic, just let the fabric breath. I half expected it to self inflate). I unfolded and shaped it and then touched up the wrinkles with a hot iron until it looked good.

The product is as described, however you might wanna go slightly larger than your usual size. Mine fits ok, but a little snug.

I like the shape and low profile, the ear lugs are an asset and you can't beat the price.
