It fits weird. I'm not really sure how to explain it but it appears to be slimming while putting it on. But once all the fasteners are all set...it feels too big. I'm sure going smaller is not the solution. I thin the fit is just...different.

Good waist cincher, GREAT back pain reliever
I've been wearing corsets since I was 21, not constantly but enough that I know the difference between the good/functional ones and the not so good, cheaply made pieces of crap that don't do anything but cut into flesh and the boning warps easily. That being said, this one is well made and comfortable. It has no bones, so nothing to go out of shape, it does suck in fat. I've been wearing mine for a week now, for at least eight hours a day. As far as noticeable improvement in shaping my waist, there's a little. I can now pull the hooks tighter, to the next row of clasps. So, yes it helps make me appear thinner, but that's not worth me lauding it. No, the biggest improvement I've noticed, and this blew me away, is in my back pain. I have had chronic, constant back pain since I was in high school, I was taking pain meds every day to help with it. In just a week of wearing this, my back pain has all but disappeared. I haven't had to take anything for it. This cincher gives me much needed support for my back and for my boobs. So if you're looking for a good piece of shapewear for a decent price, this is it. If you're looking for a comfortable piece of supportwear, THIS is it. :)

Not good quality, horrible boning.
The boning on the back always sticks out making it seem like I have an extra roll of fat because it is made from flimsy material. Not a good quality

Corset is not good quality nor durable. If you are a size 10 or larger this is not the corset for you. I was very disappointed.
