Pretty much perfect
These pouches are built like tanks from tough, reinforced nylon that can shrug off the harshest environments and abuse. The stitching is flawless, and the tension is perfectly calibrated to firmly grip mags without being a struggle to rip them out when needed.I particularly appreciate the intelligent open-top design that allows an easy punch-in motion to reload on the fly. No fiddling with bungees or tearing open covers to slow you down. Just a smooth, fast retrieval directly into the gun's magwell. At the same time, the high enclosure provides enough security that magazines won't slam out during strenuous movement or inadvertent bumps and snags. The internal mesh linings are also a nice touch for improved grip and pulling clearances. On my battle belt setup, I run the triple pouch in the front for my primary pistol; even fully loaded, they ride close to my body without excessive bulk or throwing off my balance.I've also started storing a few spares in my safe using these pouches as affordable, semi-rigid inserts to protect my ammunition from dust, moisture, and getting crushed. The molded design makes for efficient use of space as well. These ELITE SPANKER mag pouches are pretty much perfect. Tough, affordable, well-designed pieces of gear that just work as intended without any fuss.

Snug enough, but not too snug with Sig 229 in .40 caliber double stack
Review of: EXCELLENT ELITE SPANKER Tactical Open Top Double/Triple Pistol Mag Pouch for Glock M1911 92F Magazines 40mm Grenade @ $15.15 when ordered and now $14.15 at time of review.I decided to get some more weight off the duty belt and gain easier access to magazines, plus added one to my supply. I'm using these with the Sig Sauer P229 in .40 caliber (double stack).Likes:These seem to be snug enough to keep them in place, even during a struggle, but yet not too snug that I have trouble extracting them if needed. The provided Molle straps seem to hold them in place well enough, although they only go through 2 loops. I considered threading a Blackhawk STRIKE Speed Clip through the middle of the back to aid in securing it, but it was too much of a hassle, but could be done. It felt secure enough as it was.I do like what they describe as the "magic stickers" on the front. 1 photo I included has them in use, but I have not decided if I will use them or not.Dislikes:While they seem well made, time will only tell how well they hold up.The description of the product includes - "The back side: there are 4 thick Molle nylon belt with snap button on the back, and the straps can be adjusted as needed to prevent slipping." There's only 3 rows of Molles and 2 straps, or nylon belts. So I am unsure of what they're describing here.Plus, the title describes 40mm grenade and I just don't think you're going to fit one of those in one of these pouches. Thus far, I believe this to be good value for the money. I hope this helps someone to decide what's best for them.

Great budget pouch
The only bad thing I can say is the retention is weak. If I take my vest off over my head they fall out. There isn't any place for straps to go over them and I'm ok with that. Considering it's on my chest, it's not a big deal. On the flip side, having them so loose is great for if I need to do an emergency reload. The length of the straps are great and it fits snugly on my vest. Highly recommend.

Well made
Overall pretty nice. Works well for double stack mags but a little loose for single stack (1911). Very well constructed.

Magazine retention issues, elastics absolutely not snug enough
The media could not be loaded. Got this triple pistol mag pouch for use with my Canik TP9 magazines(18/20rd 9mm steel double stack mags) and they aren't very securely held in the pouches. Will say the build materials are decent, advertised as real Cordura and such and easy mag access. Other than that it has issues.None of the pouches are really snug enough with the double stack magazines, especially the center pouch. If my fat mags won't stay seated, 1911 or similar slim single stack mags for sure won't hold well (unless maybe you cram two mags per pouch). If loaded mags are inserted into the pouches and then inverted, they all slip and fall out(example in video).*Elastics have too much slack and don't really engage with the magazines(doesn't stretch when inserting mags, mags just sorta fall into the pouch)*There's no grip material inside the pouch making it very easy for the smooth mags to slide against the fabric.I don't intend to be doing cartwheels or back flips having these on but it feels like my magazines won't reliably remain seated during any serious movement/maneuvers/falls.These could be fine for beginner Airsoft, maybe even stationary armed guard postings. But any use case needing greater retention or properly secured mags, I would probably spend a few bucks more and look elsewhere for now.Hopefully they'll fix these issues later because I'm pretty sure it wouldn't require much to do so(maybe I just got a poorly assembled one).Just use a slightly shorter length of the 3" elastic, about 1 inch less and pretty sure it would have better retention(Not the height, the 3" elastic is fine. I mean going across all three pouches so the pouches would be tighter)Pros:CheapDecent materialsEasy mag accessCons:Little to no magazine retention(which is pretty much the only big issue for me personally)
