Used With Powder Actuated Nail Gun
When used by itself, quite a bit of my tack strip pulled up when stretching the carpet. When I used it in conjunction with a powder actuated nail gun it worked well. While the glue was still warm I nailed it, and the nail stuck into the concrete much better without splitting the tack strip and without cracking and chipping the concrete as much. The combination worked much better than either method by itself.

does not set too fast. strong bond
used it at work to glue mitered valences for wooden blinds. usually use c a glue but this allows a little bit of time to line up the pieces. works well.I'll buy it again.

good product
The product works great for glueing down the strip in spots that the concrete nails just would drive into or making those many small strip cuts cutting around angles. big question will be how long will the glue hold with a load on it. Sticks very fast.

you have to hsve these
These sticks are what you bought the Pam gun for .... the best glue sticks out there for most every job. I use them for many applications but originally bought the gun and glue to help with hardwood flooring, which I install often .... great for where you would have to face nail. Glue binds wood (in moments) with a bond stronger thsn the wood itself.

A few things that I have tried the UX8012 glue on did not seem and better then my old glue gun and adhesive. I don't have the oppertunity to use the gun very often, so my experience is very limited. The gun is nice quality operates great.

Great glue for welding plastic
As a hobbyist, I make lots of crafts using wood and plastics with this glue. I subtract one star because it creates a spiderweb thin strings when you pull the nozzle away from your glue path.

Must have tool for many trade man.
Bought for carpentry and cabinet works.I like this model better than well known 3M model, although reliability comparison is not clear.Recently, I cut granite slab for counter top and use this gun for wood block clamping.Construction adhesive can be replaced with this gun for many projects
