This umbrella quality was fine. It operates well, width was good, color was as advertised. I have my own umbrella stand so didn't order the one they suggested - the pole was smaller than the opening in my stand but just squeezed a piece of wood in with the pole and it holds tight. Just don't expect it to be waterproof. That's fine for me, I mainly wanted it for shade. But in steady rain the water squeezes through the material and creates a tiny, light mist sprinkle under the umbrella. Not enough to drench you, but you won't be dry. I'm going to spray some tent waterproofing on it now and again and that will be fine for me. Just depends on the purpose you want it for.

Used this for th first time today and the umbrella would not open. I checked the rope and it was not connected to anything. The crank just spins and nothing happens. I should have tested it as soon as I received it but I was waiting for my new patio set to be delivered. Now it is beyond the return window and I am stuck with a non functioning patio umbrella. I cancelled the order I placed today for the larger double umbrella by the same manufacturer as I am afraid the quality will be the same as this one.

I was worried this would be too small and maybe cheap looking but it is perfect. Very tall with the stand I already had. Great shade. I got the blue and it is a very pretty color. I would recommend.

It looks well made for the price. The mechanism works well and the support arms are sufficiently strong. The material is like others I have had that lasts, but time will tell. Overall I am happy with my purchase.

I wish I hadn’t bought this. After a few months it already looks worn and tired. Should have kept looking. I will have to replace this soon.

I ordered 3 of these and then one more after seeing the simplicity of the umbrella. The 4th one that I ordered broke within 2 weeks of setting it up. I always lowered it when not using it. But one day it was windy and the steel frame broke. I have attached pictures. All 3 other umbrellas are in good working condition - think I got a defective one and would like to be shipped a replacement!

This is the best umbrella to own. It is elegant, sturdy and all I get is compliments. Well made, the color stays even in the Florida hot sun.

About the only thing wrong is the raise and lower mechanism gets covered by it so is a little tricky starting to raise it.
