I hadn't done any artwork for close to 20 years so needed all new art supplies. First thing first is a good drawing board and this one did not disappoint. Highly recommend.

I was hoping this was a little thicker. I’m afraid it will chip, crack or break. It works well.

It's not too wobbly or flimsy, fits on my desk well, tucks behind the desk well too when I'm not using it. Love the position of the clips. The rubber band is removable which is awesome, since I hardly use that part. But its there if I need it!

Bought this for my art classes and it's a savior for when you want to bring your work on the go. I essentially use this for drawing, collaging, and anything I need grounding for. Especially helpful since I can use this and not destroy my work desk when using materials.

I frequently have to go out to industrial facilities to sketch up equipment and piping layouts ... and don't know what I'd do without a board like this to sketch on. Years ago, I purchased my first one (not this brand) in a thrift shop. And it remained in use until I recently tripped over something, fell and smacked the board so hard on a pipe that it snapped in two. Unfortunately, the old brand is no longer made ... so I'm giving the Saunders line a try.The Saunders board has everything I need ... the handhole for carrying (a must), the clips to hold papers, and the elastic band to keep the wind from blowing everything all over the place. And it's big enough to comfortably hold 11 x 17 sketch sheets with room to spare. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that the board itself doesn't feel quite as sturdy as my last one. But we'll see how it holds up in the months ahead.A tip: the elastic bands never seem to last all that long. But that's OK. Once they inevitably break, I simply use medium-size binder clips along that edge to hold papers down when it's windy!

Like it Perfect for my drawings

I use this for everything from a lap desk to an easel to paint. This item slides nicely away in a small house.

Thin, flimsy and will not lay flat. Really just save your money and find a thicker MDF board.

Great quality. The board is sturdy and smooth. It's more than strong enough for sketching/painting work. It's really light weight since it is made of recycled cardboard which makes it easy to transport. The clips are a good strength so a piece of cardboard between your paper and the clip is a good idea to prevent any dents. I bought this to hold my coloring books in other places than at my desk. Works great if you want to color in front of the TV, etc. I think it is good quality for the price, most cheaper boards are too flimsy and too small.

It’s perfect for my drawing on the go, the elastic is a nice touch, but something longer lasting would be nicer. Elastics rot over time

Nice sturdy board. Would have preferred different clamps to hold paper on the board. These are stiff.

This is a great sketchboard. Even larger pieces of paper fit on it with no problem. It's study enough that I can just prop it on my knees and it's stable for drawing.
