From the Bottom of My Broken Heart B/w Crazy

Britney's fifth and final single from her multi-platinum "...Baby One More Time" album, we have From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart. A sappy ballad about first love, and how Britney wishes it never ended. Probably the worst single released from "Baby", the song still did very well. It show cases very strong vocals from Britney, which everyone loves to see. But one thing I love about this song is the dark undertones. If you really listen to the lyrics, it sounds as if the boyfriend has broken up with Britney so that he could be with another woman. That's what it sounds like to me at least, and it surprises me that they'd put a song like this on her first album, especially with the age group they were trying to reach out to at the time.This single comes in a cardboard slip case. it has the radio edit of From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart, and a (You Drive Me) Crazy remix. When you put the CD into your computer, you get enhanced features. Included are:- From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart and Born To Make You Happy video clips (both one minute long)- A short biography about Britney- Information about her second album and home video (Time Out With Britney)- Nine pictures from the "...Baby One More Time" album photoshoot1. From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart (Radio Edit) 3/5 - Like I said, a slow sappy ballad. Pretty cheesy too. But on a positive note, it show cases Britney's vocals really well, and it seems to have a deeper meaning than what is show on the surface.2. (You Drive Me) Crazy (Jazzy Jim's Hip-Hop Mix) 4/5 - A really good remix of Britney's third single. Like the title says, it's hip-hop influenced.So that's it. Out of all of the From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart CD singles, this is probably the best one. Even though it only comes with two songs, it has a ton of enhanced content that would please any fan.Overall rating: 3.5/5

This is a good cut, I believe they take one chorus out. A very nice edit, which actually should have been the album version, in my opinion. It's the ablum version cut by about 40 seconds.2) (You Drive Me) Crazy (Jazzy Jim's Hip-Hop Mix) (3:34)-This is the main reason I bought this CD, for I wasn't going to spend $12.00 for an import single with it. It's actually a remix of the Stop Remix. A very, very nice remix that only has hip-hop INFLUNENCES, like "I'm A Slave 4 U" There is no hip-hop in it, and unfortunately we don't get to hear Britney Spears rap!!!!!!!3)Enhanced CD-Now THIS is the cool part! Pop this single into your computer and you are in for a treat! Let me go down the list!3A)The Videos-There is a VERY high quality snippet of "Born To Make You Happy" a VERY high quality snippet of "From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart" (Each About 1:10) that are very well done.There is also one other video that shows the title of the single and a message!3B)The Audio-This is the part they could have left out. Then again, if you ONLY want it for the computer part and you don't have a stereo, it certainly works! Thumbs down for only playing ONE song. 1. From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart (Radio Edit) (4:34) - Same as the album version but shorter. A nice pop ballad but Brit - sort of like 'Sometimes'. One of Britney's 2 favourite tracks on her debut album.2. (You Drive Me) Crazy (Jazzy Jim's Hip-Hop Mix) (3:40) - A really cool hip-hop remix of Crazy. This remix is absolutely AMAZING. I love it!3. Thinkin' About You (3:35) - I never used to like this song but now I really do. Sounds a bit like 'One Kiss From You' on her sophomore album. A very nice, mid-tempo, bubbly, catchy pop song.4. Sometimes (Answering Machine Message) (0:25) - Very short and a bit dumb. It's really only an added bonus. It just plays one verse of Sometimes and in the middle of it, the volume goes down and Brit says 'Hi, this is Britney Spears and sometimes, my friend can't come to the phone so leave a message after the beep and baby, they'll call you back. One More Time.'Overall, probably the worst Britney single I have. The tracks are really cool if you don't have her album but if you've got her 1st album then you've got the 3rd track, you've the got a longer but almost identical version of the 1st track and the 4th track is a little bonus, really.

Cheap & good as hell! That is describing this single the way it is. Don't listen to the haters who probably don't even own this single. This is the truth: This is a sad ballad & if you've experienced what Britney is singing about, you'll love this song. The enhanced cd portion feat. clips of the videos "Born To Make You Happy" & "From the Bottom of My Broken Heart". The 2nd track is Jimmy Jam's remix of (You Drive Me) Crazy. If you don't have the stop remix single, this song is very similar including the stop part and all in between. A great single from Jive, which is the best record company you could want to hear from alot.

Great cd but comes in flimsy card case that has darkened over the years, and the enhanced function of the CD no longer works as the link is faulty and no longer exists.

Brought as a Christmas present for my daughter-in-law who is a Britney fan she has every CD Britney ever made cannot comment on the CD as I have not heard it Sorry

The cd is not original and it was really late.
