This is a wonderful appliance that does just what it should. We've never had an electric kettle before. It boils fast, is safe, and doesn't make the water for tea or coffee taste like metal. We do a single drip cup of coffee and the spout is fine; doesn't overpour unless you're in a hurry. I like that it is large enough to allow me to fill 2 mugs with hot water to heat up, before I empty them and make 2 cups of coffee. It lasted three years approximately. I must admit I did not clean the interior with vinegar as often as recommended. It is very solid and well-made. The exterior is easy to wipe off and doesn't smudge. This review may be an update. Anyway, I am buying another because I see no need to search out another brand.

The is the best electric kettle I have used. I have had many other brands and most work but this one is much better. First it is double walled so it is much, much quieter and you will never burn your arms. There is no plastic, to speak off, that contacts the water, which makes the water safer to drink. Fill levels are stamped into the wall and are clearly and easily viewed looking inside. The larger lid makes it easier to fill and clean. The steam switch, that creates the auto off, is much more responsive than others I have used. You can not boil this kettle dry. Turning the steam off quickly will protect the finish on your upper cabinets, in case you forget to slide it out to the front edge of the lower cabinet, before using. I especially like the lid. It opens and closed without a lot of racket.To sum up, this is a polite kettle. No banging and crashing. No popping and jumping around. No burning your fingerprints off. It just works and works well.

This kettle is fantastic! I am not versed in the art of terra, but beginning the journey. I love the romance of a Japanese Tsetsubin, but as a new tea drinker don’t want to spend $1,000 on a water kettle. This kettle is perfect for me. It’s all stainless steel interior means no plastic contaminating the water. It heats 1L in 4:16(minutes:seconds). It’s easy to clean as its stainless Steel and has a wide open top. As for warmth, this kettle keeps the water hot while the lid is closed while also keeping the exterior cool to the touch (double wall stainless steel). The kettle turns itself off when water is boiling, making it completely hassle free. It’s simple straight forward looks are a perfect match to store with my Kuerig. The only thing that i could point out (and this is truly nit picking) is the on/off toggle switch is plastic. I understand the function of it (it is lit), but it should have matched the rest of the design (stainless steel or black). The kettle is made in The USA, so it meets or exceeds the strict standards for manufacturing, safety and performance.

I particularly like the capacity of this item. It holds enough water for 4 mugs of tea and heats up fast. The handle is comfortable to hold and the spout pours smoothly.

We got this kettle in 2020 when all the restaurants were closed and we had to travel cross country using dehydrated food. This kettle is full-size, but it traveled well in the car. There is no glass, so it’s not fragile. It’s now 5 years old and I use it about 4-6 times per day. This is the best and easiest to clean kettle I have ever used. The water heats up fast, the volume of water is good, it’s quiet, nothing is rusting, and the water chamber inside does not have any thing that would impede cleaning. Occasionally, I boil vinegar to get rid of calcium deposits, which does the job easily. My kettle is probably my favorite small appliance, if it broke right now, I would replace it with the exact same one.

This kettle looks nice. It boils quickly and pours easily with no drips. The interior is one seamless stainless steel surface. The kettle is stable and stays cool on the outside. The lid is spring-loaded and feels solid. The opening is large enough for a medium-sized hand in case you want to clean the inside or boil hands.The setup instructions say to boil and discard water twice. I would recommend to do this three times, since I found the third boil still seemed a little funky. After this, the boiled water has always been clean of any unwanted taste or smell.The kettle is about 20% wider and taller than other 1.5L kettles I have owned in the past, which is not a problem, but was unexpected. The auto-off works but takes a while to activate, probably because the switch is at the bottom instead of the top. As other reviewers note, there is a small bit of plastic in the lid hinge, but it’s so small that it’s hard to see how it could cause any real water contamination.The end of the power cord isn’t held securely by the base which makes it surprisingly annoying to move the base since the cord won’t stay locked into its channel. It also somehow feels slightly too long when unwound halfway.If this kettle worked the way it did the first few weeks, I would give it 4 stars and a solid recommendation. Unfortunately, as several other reviewers have reported, after about three weeks mine started to smell like noxious burning plastic coming from the handle when the kettle was on. The stem of the on/off switch also changed from clear to cloudy, which I’d guess is related. Since this seems to be more than a one-off problem, it is hard to recommend this kettle at this time, since my #1 rule of kettles is to not burn down the house.

Purchased this unit after search for all stainless kettle. This model is simplicity itself. Double wall stainless with no plastic contacting the water. Heats impressively fast and turns off shortly after water begins to boil. On and off, that's it. Works great.
