My daughter is obsessed with Heidi! She even got two of her BFF into the series. I really recommend it!

I would recommend this book to first and second graders because it shows the friendship between 3 friends, Heidi, Lucy, and Bruce, and how you're always friends no matter what! To me the moral is how 3 friends can stick together even when they're in a big argument! I love how this series expresses the main point of the book through the drawing on the cover and the title! I can relate to these stories (not the magic) because she uses real life problems and everyone goes through these troubles! Good luck reading!

This was the first I bought in the Heidi Heckelbeck series. OOPS! There's a secret to Heidi Heckelbeck that you know if you've read others of the series I'm sure, but my kiddos and I were surprised by it! Still, I just started chapter books with my 5 and 3 year olds and they enjoyed this one immensely. It kept their attention and they wanted to know what would happen next.

My 2nd grader loves this book. She has read the entire series. I love the fact that this series actually made her want to read. She says they are really good and has gone back and read them a second time.

Great book. I'm getting ready to introduce my granddaughter to this series and characters. She'll love the easy to read, easy to follow story and the easy to relate to characters. There are pictures on every page which will keep her interest.
