STAJOY Self Cleaning Slicker Brush for Dogs and Cats(Yellow)

Bought this after reading reviews and Q&A but when it got here I found a huge, bulky brush. Not suitable for my cat despite the pictures and text that claim it is also suitable for cats.

Used the brush for 3 months on my cat and it was amazing.However, now the brush is broken and the bristles do not come out when the button is pressed. I believe the spring is broken and I can’t use the brush anymore as the bristles do not stay put when I press the button. The item is completely useless to me now even though it was very effective in getting rid of excess hair on my cat.

The cat was quite happy for me to use this brush on him but I found it didn’t penetrate to the undercoat nearly as well as other grooming aids so it removed very little loose fur. My favourite for a shirt haired cat is still the Furminator.

I was using a bit dubious about the quality of this item at the price but it works great and grooms my Beddy/Whippet great.

Perfect product (unless you’ve got a very sensitive dog)! Never thought it would be so easy to remove the hairs.
