KidKraft Savannah Wooden Dollhouse, Over 4 Feet Tall with Porch Swing and 14 Accessories,Gift for Ages 3+

After I ordered this product, I read different reviews and became nervous as to what was in store for me when I opened the big box to assemble. I heard comments like it's not durable, not all made out of wood and there was also a review to use gorilla glue. Which - I totally understand the thinking behind it and I had my gorilla glue on stand by, but I was pleasantly delighted to not even need it. The frame of the doll house is wood, the backwalls and roof are a sturdy cardboard material, but very thick and very stiff - it's not easily bent. Honestly, I can't exactly see how you could even bend it, it's that stiff. I thought it would be flimsy cardboard and it wasn't like that at all. The dollhouse, in my opinion, is extremely sturdy and you have to screw it together in many places, so it's not going to fall apart at all. I could not find one time where I needed the gorilla glue, not to mention, if you might move in the future, no glue allows you to semi-disassemble it to transport. I put it together by myself (and I don't have much if any construction experience!) in about 2 hours with the kids in the background watching TV. The only piece I had difficulty with is threading the porch swing string through the whole in the bench itself. I still have to tackle that today. I don't recommend this product to tinny tiny hands, I think 4+ years is great. It requires kids to be gentle with it, obviously they can't climb it or go inside, but so long as they are as gentle as little 4 - 6 years old can be, it will be an excellent investment for many years. The design is made of light pastel colors and is most definently a timeless and classic look. A wonderful place for children to imagine and play!

I love this doll house! Growing up I had one but the furniture wasnt big enough for barbie to actually use, but the furniture in this house is perfect! Putting the house together was so simple, and I am not sheman who can fix and build anything. The house is so nicely decorated, all the princesses look great in it, and the furniture is so cute and looks like a lot of care went into making it. After I was done putting the house together I moved it up against the couch, that my dog was napping on, to take a picture and the dog moved and knocked the house over, and of course the furniture fell out but the house stayed in tact and looked like nothing happened to it. I am giving it to my daughter for her third birthday and I am very confident it will be arround for years to come. I dont think it was listed on my list of all the pieces that were included but there is also a bracket to fasten the house to the wall so it doesnt tip over, so after the birthday I will work on that. I am so excited for this doll house I wish her birthday was tomorrow! Money WELL spent!

We purchased this a few weeks ago and just finished the assembly this morning (it is a Christmas gift for our 4 year old so she obviously has not played with it yet). I started the assembly myself shortly after it came and I found the directions to be straight forward and it was packaged well. The hardware was even separated and labeled which was a time saver. I spent about 2 hours on the assembly and was about three quarters of the way finished when I hit a road block. A couple of the pre-drilled holes were off and made it impossible (for me anyway) to get the bolts and cams to align properly. I knew my husband could figure something out and was in no hurry since it is out of sight in our basement so I just left it "in progress" until we had time to go back to it. My husband went down to the basement this morning and spent about an hour on it and...voila! We have a complete dollhouse! He just used his drill to even up the pre-drilled holes in the few spots that were problematic. So total time spent on assembly was about 3 hours and we will say that is time spent for one person since we didn't really work on it together at any point. I think this is of better than average quality...the back walls and floors are made from a thinner particle board than the side walls and roof but I certainly wouldn't describe them as "cardboard" like some reviews I read. It is quite sturdy once assemble properly. It is intended for dolls to walk on not children so I really don't see the need for stronger floors. It would not hold up to a child climbing or standing on it but that is not it's intended use anyway. I don't think it would fair as well in a home with toddlers but that isn't an issue for us as our youngest is four. I will probably provide my daughter with a small step stool so she can reach the top floors as it is really tall and will be hard for her to reach. We actually saw this particular dollhouse over the summer and our daughter had a blast with it so we knew exactly what we were buying. The stairs are plastic but functional and honestly if they were to upgrade every little detail the dollhouse would be a lot more expensive. We have a dollhouse for small dolls (hand made for me by my father when I was a child) and it is of course far better quality and much more solid but a handmade dollhouse of this size (for Barbie) would cost a fortune. The furniture is cute and looks like it will hold up as well as any of the plastic furniture available these days. I got this for $117 with free shipping here on Amazon. Toys r Us carries similar dollhouses at similar prices (maybe even a few bucks less) but I decided on this one because I found the colors to be less obnoxious than some of the others that had a lot of hot pink. I have no doubt that this will be a hit on Christmas morning and be used often by our kids and considering the furniture is included it's a pretty good bang for the buck.

I bought this Barbie house for Christmas for my girls 7.5 and 3. I ordered it in the evening and the next day it was here. I was very surprised. I cant stress enough how well this house is made! I could not believe the quality! It is very sturdy and it is over 4 ft tall. The furniture that comes with it is adorable and once again very well made. Its been played with for over 7 months not just by my kids but by of their cousins ( and they do have many) and not 1 piece did break. Both girls love playing with it. Ich habe das Puppenhaus für meine 3 jährige Tochter zu Weihnachten jetzt kürzlich bestellt und wir sind wirklich sprachlos begeistert! In der Tat hat mein Vater ganze 4 Stunden gebraucht um das Holzhaus aufzubauen aber es hat sich gelohnt! Es sieht einfach fantastisch aus, märchenhaft und ein Hingucker in jedem Mädchenzimmer! Alle Freundinnen und Bekannte sind schwer beeindruckt, dass so ein großes und geräumiges Puppenhaus nur 119EUR gekostet hat inklusive Lieferung!!!! Das bekommt man NIRGENDWO sonst! Ich habe wirklich lange recherchiert im Internet aber Puppenhäuser fangen in der Größe bei 260EUR an! Es ist also unglaublich günstig! Zudem sind die 15 Möbelstücke, die mit geliefert werden super verarbeitet und ganz toll zum Spielen. Alle Barbies meiner Tochter passen rein, können aufrecht stehen und passen auf die Couch und sogar in das Bettchen rein! Die einzige Kleinigkeit, die falsch konstruiert wurde ist die Schaukel links auf dem Balkon. Sie sieht zwar toll aus aber leider kippt sie immer nach vorn, so dass meine Tochter Ihre Barbie nicht rauf setzten und schaukeln kann. Mein Vater hat die Schaukel mit einem zusätzlichen Band befestigt so dass sie jetzt auch funktioniert. Es ist wirklich ein beachtliches Kindergeschenk und sie können sich auf strahlende Kinderaugen freuen!!! Das Puppenhaus kann ich voll und ganz ehrlichen Herzens weiterempfehlen! Un quarto d'ora, compreso di monitoraggio delle cucciole affinché non sparissero viti e quant'altro Tanto mi è bastato per trasformare il viso perplesso delle mie bimbe in un sorriso di gioia e sorpresa mano a mano che il "cantiere" vedeva cresce la casa piano dopo piano :) Dalla scatola chiusa alla casa fissata al muro (assolutamente obbligatorio!!!!!!!!!) non è passata più di mezz'oretta, poi per me un meritato grappino e per loro giornate di gioco Bella, ricca, quasi opulenta Ben fatta in tutti i dettagli, comprese le viti di riserva casomai una cadendo di mano andasse a perdersi sotto il più recondito divano Semplicissime le istruzioni con grafica "stile Ikea" a prova di imbecille Un oggetto non regalato, certo, ma che si ripagherà con la qualità costruttiva e la cura con cui è stata realizzata Davvero, talvolta spendere di più significa spendere di meno Altro che plasticotti

La maison est superbe , grande , et s'accorde très bien avec la déco d'une chambre de petite fille .Je l'ai monté facilement en un peu plus d'1 heure seule . Le mobilier inclus est très beau , même si pour ma part elle n'est pas complète en l'état , il manque des meubles et éléments mais tout ça peut être rajouté au fur et à mesure ! ma fille m'a commandé des couvertures hier , 15 mn de tricot et une couverture pour son bébé , je vais lui faire des draps et sûrement rajouter des rideaux . Je regrette juste que le dernier étage ne soit pas accessible pour barbie , elle ne rentre pas debout , pas facile pour bercer bébé , du coup ma fille a trouvé la parade , le berceau de bébé se trouve dans la chambre avec barbie .. bien sûr , et en haut c'est la chambre et salle de jeux des filles , interdite aux adultes! J'aurais adoré avoir la même petite ! c'est un superbe cadeau à faire à une petite fille entre 4 et 8 ans ( si on veut qu'elle en profite un peu ) avant 4 ans c'est un peu jeune pour avoir un réel intérêt pour la poupée mannequin .
