Musiclily 8 Hole Tele Pickguard Scratch Plate for Fender USA/Mexican Standard Telecaster Modern Style Electric Guitar, 4Ply Parchment Pearl

Straightforward swap for the pickguard on my 2008 Mexican Fender Telecaster Standard. Fits perfectly, all screw holes line up with those on the body. I thought the original white pickguard looked a little insipid, so I decided to replace it with a moodier black version. Good quality and price, arrived swiftly and the seller even included a bag of screws. Nice touch! 😊

Fits perfectly on a Player II Tele. It was a tiny bit tight around the control plate, but nothing out of the ordinary and in fact, once it clicked into place over it, it forced the holes to line up more or less perfectly. The only difference, aside form the colour, is that the screw holes are sunken deeper on the original, whereas this has a more vintage vibe with screw protruding a little. No big deal to me at all. The Ivory colour is the perfect match for Aquatone to give it a more vintage cold white feel rather than the stark white that comes with it or the warm tones of the cream plate. For the price you cannot go wrong.

I recently picked up a very, very good early Squier Telecaster for an absolute song. It's one of the nicest guitars I have played, regardless of manufacturer or price. It had a white pickguard which looked OK but wasn't particularly inspiring. I'm not usually one for worrying too much about the looks of a guitar (or the manufacturer). I'm more interested in how it plays, how it feels and how it sounds. This time, though I was swayed by a picture of a butterscotch Tele with a black 3-ply pickguard. The pickguard arrived quickly and was well protected with two layers of film. Fitting was a bit of a challenge. Like a few others here, the holes did not line up. Not a showstopper, and I'm not really sure what the manufacturer can do about it. My one disappointment was that I hadn't clocked the fact that the existing pickguard did not have screwholes for the neck pickup (the pickup is secured underneath the pickguard - see second picture) and the new pickguard has the holes predrilled. No biggy, I have simply dropped a couple of screws in to make it look like they're doing something. I'll fix them in place with a drop of glue. All in all I'm happy with the end result and I think the guitar looks much classier. They're a few quid cheaper on Etsy, but the leading UK supplier didn't have the 3-ply black in stock and I am an impatient chap.

Perfect fit and completely gives the guitar an expensive look. Very happy with the product and a decent price.

I was really wary of putting this onto my Guitar as it was so cheap, but honestly, I’m gobsmacked at how good it is. It’s easily as good a quality as the plate that came off my American standard and the fit and finish are just perfect.

Didn't align perfectly with the screw holes. Also the volume/tone plate hole was too tight at the top. This is on my 1995 Mexican Tele anyway. Photo shows this (with protective clear film still on pick guard). However with a little strategic shaving with a sharp blade I managed to get it to fit and got the screws back in place. Athis price you're not seriously going to return it! The actual product quality seems fine though and now that it's fitted it looks very good (other photo). Maybe it lines up better with more recent guitars, who knows...

Good for the price. It fits MIA and MIM tele.

Después de leer opiniones de diferentes productos parece que no todas las tapas son exactamente iguales, aunque sea por milímetros. En este caso la tapa de color negro de tres capas encaja perfecto en una Fender Telecaster del 2002 MIM o MN (Made in Mexico). Buen producto para el precio que tiene, a ver lo que dura.
