The cats love it
Our cats always used to wait until someone went to the sink to try to catch a sip of water, they rarely wanted to drink from their bowl, with this one they ran immediately to it and drank from it. Assembly way easy enough, at first the spout had a tight fit, but with a little water the spout went right in. I also like the idea of a porcelain fountain much more than plastic and it just looks very modern and sleek. Overall its quiet and seems easy to clean, but the most important part is that my cats will drink more and be healthy.

It splashes itself empty
It has splashed so much that I have mold damage now. I would return this if I could. It is unusable. I have puddles of water under the table from. The flow from the fountain is so strong. It isn't a trickle, it's stronger than any water fountain I have ever seen. I think maybe because the gasket hold the tube is slightly narrower so it increases the pressure like when you put your thumb on a garden hose to make it spray with more force. Bad design. But it is lovely.

Has potential, needs tweaking.. too expensive to return but can be hacked
The media could not be loaded. *3-13-19 update...fountain hack 101*I used an old aquarium adjustable flow pump that I had (2.5W - 40gmp) which is available from pet supplies for less than the return shipping. I was able to make this beauty much more functional and absolutely, undetectably silent. I found the pump available through Chewy also. I can't see spending $70+++ for a different model. I would have given this a 4 🌟, maybe a 5 🌟 otherwise. My husband fabricated a stainless steel tubing arch to put into the silicone spout on the top deck to mimick the sink. Genius! See video. Once the fountain was quiet and not a raging water thrill ride my target pet who needs extra water attention went to it without hesitation and drank. We've had fountains before so I was rewarded for the effort.I was ready to give this nice ceramic fountain a great review but regretfully I am unable to for 2 very specific reasons. (1) The silicone spout is very difficult to insert into the top deck & (2) It is SO LOUD 😵. It arrived quickly, excellent packaging, cleaning tools & great directions. It went together easily until the silicone spout. I finally used an old lab trick and used glycerin (no one keeps that around). This will make frequent cleaning something to dread in my opinion. The glaze had a few rough spots that may have not been an issue as they were not in a visible place. Beyond aesthetics though, that's a potential harborage for bacteria. My prize for all of the assembly effort was a very loud fountain. No way to adjust the flow which many $10-12 pumps have. Net result, flow is too much. It will drive me insane. Nope. I'm going to have to return it. Maybe an adjustable pump would alleviate the noise and splash (yep, it's messy too) but that spout...It had so much potential. Here's the kicker...I have to pay over $9 to return this junk. Probably a good reason it is not longer available.

Splashy and not that quiet
I purchased this fountain because the vet recommended that I no longer use plastic for my cats. I guess cats get allergic reactions to plastic. The fountain is a good size, not too big or small. It is not as quiet as I expected since it was advertised as "super quiet ". If the water level drops at all, it becomes noisier. The other issue was not being able to see where the water level was since it is porcelain you can't see inside and you don't know how much water to add. The pump does not have an output control so you only get one water pressure. It would be nice to control the water as I found it splashed all over. I am buying a new pump in hopes I can correct some of these issues because I really like the idea of a porcelain fountain.BTW My cats love it!

Nicely designed and cat-approved fountain.
Overall this is a great pet fountain. It’s designed well as far as size and looks good. It was quiet out of the box, but the water shot too high for our scaredy cats so we exchanged it for a pump from another style fountain we’d tried. That brought the water down lower to the fountain top where all cats are now enjoying their drinks. I will likely buy another one for our 2nd floor as the cats like water in both locations.

Little zen water fountain
My cat loves this fountain, and so do! Definitely the nicest looking cat fountain I’ve seen, for a good price. It’s quiet and soothing for the humans, too, like we’re in a zen garden! 😂 Easy to assemble with the instructions. My cat has had major urinary issues and the vet suggested getting a fountain to help him get more water. He loves to play with it and drinks much more than before.

Spout does not fit
This looks like a nice fountain but I wish I had read other peoples reviews first. I cannot get the spout into the hole in the top ceramic piece. I tried to run it without the spout and the water spilled all over my counter. Perhaps the sellers of this product have some suggestions? Thanks

Did NOT like this product
It is a great price, but this fountain was very loud and noisy and not only that the water would splatter out of the tub and I would have to refill with water every 12 hours since it would be almost dry. I think if they would reduce the pump pressure maybe it would work. I sent mine back.
