The media could not be loaded.  This Hover Board was purchased for my 9-year old's birthday and he was extremely chuffed to receive it. I have to admit I was more nervous than him, as you always imagine falls and scrapes. I bought a safety pads kit, with wrists, elbows, knees and of course a helmet to go with the board. I did buy a stabiliser T-shaped pole too, but this was sent back as he didn't need it. Children tend to master these gadgets very quickly, and he did. A few goes indoors, then it was off to the park where we stabilised him holding each arm, as he went up and down the straight. We gradually dropped to one hand and then he was off!LIKES-------1. It's simple to step on in a one-foot, then other foot motion and then off you go.2. The device has quite wide tyres, so you can go on paving, solid grass and surfaces with a slight grit.3. The board can build up some good speed.4. The device comes with a lightweight bag to pack and carry the board.5. The remote control on/off switch is a cool security feature.DISLIKES----------1. The device is very heavy, so it's not advisable to walk with it.2. The voice activation is very loud and cannot be adjusted.3. The images that were shown on Amazon were of two models, so this one only has one set of blue lights.4. Need to be rebalanced frequently.CONCLUSION---------------Well, the device was great family fun as we have all had goes on it. The battery has lasted for each trip to the park and back, and given we stayed until we were bored it's not bad going. I must admit I was miffed that I did not receive what was advertised, but this device is something that children will enjoy as it's much more high-tech than a simple scooter or skateboard!

After having two failed products we returned this item for a refund. It receives two stars for the quality of the customer service team who were prompt, friendly, and helpful.Within an hour of use the first board began clicking in one wheel. Within a few more hours the geo-stationary lights on that wheel started spinning, and then shortly after failed altogether. When the second board arrived the same fault began within less than a week. So we returned and will buy from a different brand.

I bought this hooverboard for my sons 8th Birthday less than 2 weeks ago. After a week the battery wouldn’t charge properly. It would runs for 2 minutes. The seller responded very quickly to me. I found them to be very helpful. They told me how to do a hard reset. They also gave me the option to return the Segway for a refund or a working Segway as well as paying towards the shipping. This really impressed me. I did the reset about 10 times and now the Segway seems to be working perfectly and holding its charge.

Powerful unit, fast and seems to be buikt well. Instructions don't full match the item supplied, neither does the remote control. But good fun especially with the addition of the kart.

Excellent product my grandson was thrilled easy to use and has given hours of fun

My 9 year old Grandson was ecstatic with this gift! He soon learned how to use it, however, we also got decent protective gear for him as falling off was a big part of his learning! Most of the family can also ride the hover board now. My Grandchildren both zoom around easily and absolutely love it!
