I use this as a litter waste trash can and it works perfect. Small and keeps the litter smell inside. It's really lasted too.

Perfect for countertop composting. Austin recently started a curbside composting program for all houses and I never realized how much compostable material I've been putting in the trash! A study performed before the program started showed that over 40% of garbage put in their landfills could have been composted (and another 40 something percent could have been recycled). It's so easy to clean because I just put it through the dishwasher! I never notice smells coming from it. It's small enough to not be intrusive but large enough to hold 1-3 days worth of compostable kitchen scraps.

I just go it and while it's a bit longer than I wanted it's still a good nice and not too big. I have a very small counter and it still works great. The lid does stay up. I read reviews that said the lid did not stay up that you had hold it open? that's not true, my lid stays up. It has no latch mechanism so I have not doubt it should last quite awhile as long you handle it with care and wash it gently etc.

I purchased this bin for beside my master bath’s toilet for my fabric menstrual pads that need washed. I just wrote “WASH” on the top of the lid so no one would mistake it for the trash can. It’s a little flimsier than I thought but it’s the perfect size and will work perfectly for what I need it for. 😊

For this higher price, I expected the box to be made of thicker plastic for sturdiness. But the box and especially the lid are quite flimsy, so they can easily bend, break, or warp if you’re not careful.There’s also an additional inner rim attached inside the lid that doesn’t quite make sense in terms of use or design. It gets in the way as you toss scraps into it. So you’ve got peels just hanging on it if they don’t land smack in the center. I’m not sure what that rim is for and no instructions came explaining what to do with it. If it’s for holding a plastic bag inside of it, there’s no logical way to do it.All in all the box is basic and does the bare minimum collecting food scraps. But I wouldn’t repeat my purchase after it breaks, which it most definitely will after a while. Will look for something tougher for daily use.

Used this for baby diapers works great keeps most of the stink in. Only bad thing is that bags are a pain to install but dont need to use that ring inside unless you really want to

I have not actually put this into use yet. I bought it for use in my camper where space is at a premium. The size is perfect, the workmanship and materials seem to be of good quality and I think the design will be excellent once in use.
