Spotlight on Brazil (Spotlight on My Country) Paperback – February 15, 2011

This is an overview about Brazil. Very simple language. Great to introduce my country and culture to my 8 year old American children.

I bought this for my six year old who was prepping for a report on Brazil. It was perfect for her reading level, and had a nice amount of information. She chose to focus on the Animals of Brazil and there was plenty of material to make that work, in addition to basic demographic and geographic data as well as cultural background. She drew pictures from it for her poster board and overall just helped her tremendously. She is in a Montessori school but is in the equivalent of first grade.

It was good. I covered what I wanted.

My 6 year old grandson needed books for a Science Fair project at his school! This was perfect for him to understand and after the project, we donated it to the school library for other kids to enjoy!

Good for preschoolers and lower primary grade students.

Great for teaching young children about the country. I will use it in my classroom nearer to June for the world cup. The series is great.
