1 star because it is broken and improperly packaged.
its absolutely beautiful but it is broken.i show a photo attached. this is the first time ive gotten something broken.tomotherwise it would be 5 starsthe pics show me opening it.the mailman had stuffed my package in the mailbox. donþ know if the books that came with amazon order broke it or if it was broken in shipping. but they all three were packaged together. fosdil had no bubble wrap only something like paper towel around it. it was wrapped several times. but i think bubble wrap would have been better.

Sample was good quality, no imagination needed; definitely and no question a substantive fossil. A gift for my niece who is in grad school studying fish. She loved it.
