Life comes at you fast! Seems like just yesterday I was starting an evening of adult drinks at 9pm; and yet here I sit, enjoying a cool LaCroix at 5:30am writing an Amazon review for... socks. Hello mid-thirties! 👋🏼What motivates such strange behavior? In a word (or two): “the Smudge”. It’s an impossibly high mark on my wall, made by the wild flailing of my knee and the inky blue jeans I was wearing. You see, on our basement floor we have that manufactured hard wood (glorified laminate) that is at times as slicks as Clark Griswold’s experimental cooking oil from National Lampoon’s Christmas Vaction. It’s all fun and games when trying out your Tom Cruise Risky Business impersonation; but not so great when you are casually walking out of your bathroom, preoccupied with your phone, and end up unexpectedly flat on your back staring at a new mark on your wall.I know what you are thinking, why don’t you just put on slippers (terribly missnamed product, come to think of it)?! Well, as someone who mostly works from home, procrastinates, and runs out late for meetings, I want adult socks - not cable knit Totes. Ain’t nobody got time for changing from inferno hot slippers into socks like an OCD Mister Rogers!Thankfully, Amazon’s algorithm came through with Gripjoy socks. It’s a good price for a 3pk, so I thought I would give them a try - after all, you can’t put a price on your health!If you are still reading this, I’ll cut to the chase: they work great! Flexible to slip into dress shoes, comfy to wear around the house, and provide good grip on unreasonably slick floors. They look great and seem to be of good quality after a few washes and wears. I’m not sure they bring me joy, but they sure do grip, and they let me run up and down from the basement without looking like a contestant on Japan’s “Slippery Stairs”!

My mother is in a nursing home and needs assistance to get in and out of wheelchair. Hospital slipper socks didn't have enough "grips" on the bottom of them. Ordered these to try. They are the BEST when it comes to keeping her feet from sliding on the floor. The only reason i didn't rate it 5 stars is they are pretty tight on the top of the socks and my mother has very thin legs /ankles. May not work for anyone that has any fluid build up in the legs.

These socks are made very well. So much better than those things you get in the hospital or rehabs! Soft but sturdy and not too thick...can be worn with shoes! And they are not tube socks...these actually have a heel....a top and bottom. The 'foot' part of the sock fits perfect and stays put. Would have given more "stars", but the top of the sock is just too tight...after a few hours of wearing them the indentations on my legs were way too deep and I do not have a problem with my legs or feet swelling. We are making the socks work by cutting off the 'elastic' part of the sock top.It is not a perfect solution, but seems to work for me. It would be nice if the leg part of the sock was not quite so long. Overall, you have created a much better non-slip sock than my hospital versions.

I liked the fact that they were not to thick and could be used with shoes. I punched them for my cousin who is 97 and uses a walker. He was excited to know that he has non slip socks instead of the regular ones. I recommended to him to wear them to bed and if he needs to get up at night he won't have to worry about slippy on the tile floor or the wood floor. Great item for those that are getting older and need some safety in their life. The bottoms have more non slip treads than other socks I have seen.

I needed these socks! No joke, I have ended up in the ER twice in the past few years from slipping and wiping out on my hardwood stairs, once even carrying my then 7mos old (luckily she was fine, though I cracked 2 ribs!). It was either getting carpet runners installed, or finding a non-slip sock that I could wear without feeling like I'm wearing a huge slipper or fluffy sock - totally impractical. But these are perfect. They are high quality but also fit like everyday socks that I'd wear normally, and they are slip-free. Highly recommend.

These didn't last long. After only a few weeks they began showing signs of wear and tear and started to get holes. In fact, regular socks are more durable than these. Not worth it's money for the intended purpose (ie, socks to wear inside the house).

When I received these socks I was excited as they looked lovely. They were a great colour and fit well. They looked to be well-made. After ONE day's wear around the house, the rubber strips on the bottom all started to detach from the sock and made them un-wearable. Very disappointing indeed. Would not re-order these. Too bad!

My shoe size is 7, but my feet swell due to lymphedema, so I got the largest size which starts at 9. I do this with most of my socks and never have a problem. But these were too small and way too tight. They are very well made and the grip covers the feet well, but if you have any swelling in your feet at all, do not buy these! I was going to use them all the time, but they are cutting off my circulation. Either I was sent the wrong size or a size 9 means something else to this company. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Enfin un bas antidérapant mince que l'on peut porter en tout temps. Le produit est arrivé rapidement c'est exactement tel que décrit. J'aime bien le fait que ce soit des bandes ou lieu de petits pois en-dessous. C'est beaucoup plus sécuritaire ainsi. J'en ai lavé une paire . Aucun problème !!! La grandeur est parfaite pour moi et je pense même en acheter pour ma mère éventuellement. Et le fait que ça vient par paquet de trois est un plus. Je n'ai aucune hésitation à recommander ce produit!

Purchased these Gripjoy socks for a senior with hip replacement and he loves them. He often has difficulty getting up from the sofa due to lack of feet traction when not wearing shoes. The greatest benefit over other brands is the designated heel area and the fact that they doesn't slip around on his feet. The grips on the bottom really grab the floor and we have already placed our second order. Thank you Gripjoy!

i am quite impressed with the non slip material. I had tried everything under the sun in the past few years for my mother and she likes these the best. If there was one small thing I could improve would be the tightness of the socks for the feet so the don’t move around as much. Still i would order them again and happily recommend them.Monique
