Perfect!
I use these magnifying lights for diamond painting most of the time. I already had one, but it was a nuisance because the flexible gooseneck was only 12 inches long & it ran on batteries. Even with new batteries the brightness was still not impressive. So I went looking for a new magnifying lamp with a longer gooseneck, better lighting, & a plug-in power source. This magnifying lamp is perfect! I am very impressed with the 3 levels of brightness, the 20-inch gooseneck, & the USB power cord which can be plugged into a USB port or an adapter to plug in to the wall outlet. Also, my old light only had a table clamp so that is what I was used to, & I thought I would just use the clamp on this new lamp as well. But when I found that this new lamp's base was well-weighted, I decided to try it instead of the clamp & I like using the base so much better! Definitely recommend this product!

Saved my eyesight, use a battery pack (short cord)
I use it for beading Christmas ornaments and paint by numbers. Save yourself some aggravation and use a battery pack instead of trying to plug it in an unlettered. Excellent illumination!!!

Don't curse if your light stops turning on. Get a new power cord instead!
As a 40 something year old, my eyes aren't as good as they used to be. I make jewelry for a living and had to accept the fact that I'm basically getting old and my vision basically sucks now lol. This lamp is perfect for my work. I love that it has 3 brightness stages. On days when I don't need to turn on my overhead light, the magnifier light is great and gives me just enough light to do my work without hurting my eyes. The magnifier does help me quite a bit when I need to use it (I use the light more often). So, nearly 11 months later, the power cord stopped working so my light will not turn on. I started searching for a new lamp but tbh, I really didn't want to pay for another lamp as I really, really liked this one so a lightbulb went off in my head and I searched for a new power cord, instead. So much cheaper and my light is shining again!Pros:Great magnifierThe options for brightness setting is fantasticThe gooseneck gives me the flexibility (see what I did there?) to move the lamp out of my way and when I need to use itClamp is sturdy enough as long as I don't bump into itBase is definitely sturdy and I like that there is a slot to prop my phone on itCons:Power cord can give out at any time (based on other reviews). Mine went out the other day after nearly a year of daily use. A replacement cord is much cheaper than getting a new lamp, especially if you love your lamp like I do mine. Look for a USB to DC 3.5x1.35mm barrel jack

Perfect for my wire-wrapped jewelry making needs.
I bought this magnifying lamp to help me when making my wire-wrapped jewelry. While I use reading glasses for close work, I found I needed extra magnification to finish the wire wrapping neatly and to thread fine wire into small 2-3mm stones when making cluster earrings. This lamp is perfect and I’m loving working with it!! Very bright light at max. brightness, easy to move as needed. The weighted base is sturdy and stable. I have not used it in the clip-on mode, only in the table top mode. The swan /goose neck is long and maneuverable enough to change position as needed-either to bring down for close up work or to raise to just have extra light but not use the magnifying lens.Overall, excellent purchase!!

Works well as a clip on or desk stand
I do pencil drawings and acrylic paintings, working from photographs. I have a large drawing board (23 x 26) and typically clip my paper onto one side of the board and the photograph (8 x 10) onto the other. I have an LED light that lights up the entire surface, but need to see details that I am working on. This small magnifier with 3 light levels works perfectly. It has a big, easy to use clip with a 3 position switch. It plugs into a USB adaptor, the same kind used to recharge your phone, and the clip part removes from the base so I can clip it onto my board and move the flexible gooseneck around. The little circle that magnifies even more is useless to me for this, and at first I thought the desk stand wasn't necessary either. However, I realized both of these functions could be used for other purposes, like removing a splinter when you need to see and use both hands, or for other close-up work that is on a flat surface, so I give it 5 stars for versatility that I originally didn't think I needed/wanted. I'm actually ordering a second unit so I can have magnification of the photo and the drawing/painting for better comparison.

After 3 years it started going on and off by itself. Who knew?
I have just used it as a reading lamp over my couch and I could just touch it to turn it on. Well just the other day it started turning itself on after a while. Spooky. I don't know how since it's a touch pad and nothing is touching it. I might just have to dissect it.

Awesome
Best functional traveling lamp. I use it for diamond painting and it’s perfect.I love that you can clip it on the table ORput it in the stand and it’s weighted down… there’s options if the table you’re at is too thick to clip. The magnification is perfect. And the lighting is excellent

Just OK
Overall this is an "OK" lamp but not the best. The brightness is adequate for very close-in work but not bright enough for much else. Don't buy this if you're looking for a desk lamp with a magnifier. It's not that bright. It's top-heavy and tends to tip if you extend it over your work while using it with the weighted base. The spring clamp needs to be stronger. I clamp it to the edge of a glass top desk near to my fly tying vise and it moves around whenever I re-adjust the position of the magnifying head.It has three brightness settings but I find the third, brightest setting to be the only usable one. The brightness and on-off is controlled by a "touch-switch" on top of the spring clip base. The third touch brings it to the brightest setting and the fourth touch turns it off.... which happens accidentally more often than I would like. The power jack at the back of the spring clip base has an "afterthought" feel to it. The plug and socket weren't engineered to go together and don't fit well. I have accidentally unplugged it a couple of times. Not a big deal but it gives it a 'garage built' feel.Overall I probably wouldn't recommend it.

Super funcional
Me gusto mucho el producto, si la luz fuera ligeramente más intensa estaría super.

Useful
Need to get used to using it, after that this magnifying device is so helpful when I doing my art crafts, especially with the light which is so useful when I need to see in small details
