If in doubt, get them. Better than getting a brace for my ankle!
Increases my mobility, helps my activity level and balance. Upper body work out is great, building back muscle tone lost after lumbar surgery. I have drop foot and rely on these sticks to get me there safely.

Great poles
The poles are very good at this point! The rubber booties at the end of the poles are heavy duty and will last several months. Adjusting the poles is easy. My first set of poles from a different company lasted 19 years. Time will tell how these endure!

Very sturdy and adjustable, light weight
My physical therapist told me to buy walking poles because "you can't risk falling down again." I looked for ones a friend suggested made locally in our area but the business collapsed during Covid. So, took a chance on these and they work well. My husband got a pair too. We walk around the neighborhood every day with them and they are great because they work out your arm and back muscles besides giving you added assurance for balance. If you have xc skied in the past, it is a similiar motion.

Great Motivator to Walking
I saw a pair of these at my physical therapists's office. After trying them out, I decided to buy my own pair. I have balance issues so I don't walk as often as I should. These poles are a god-send! I feel stable and can walk farther than ever without having to stop (due to Afib). I am also using my arms more so that helps with cardio. This is one of the best things I have done for myself to improve my health!

Flexible, great for walking properly, light-weight
I purchased the Urban Poling, Series 300, walking sticks because my wife said I was slouching too much. Not only that, I almost always experienced lower-back pain after a mile or so of casual walking. The poles help me maintain a proper, upright posture, which virtually eliminated the back pain. For a little more than $120, they are a well-worth while investments. Recommended!!!

Great for seniors or anyone looking for a bit of stability. I especially appreciate the little hand rest near the top. Easily adjustable for your height.

Unable to extend one of the poles. Unfortunately I ordered it for a friend who was away and by the time she was back the period for return had expired.

Having done Nordic walking with the poles that have adjustable hand straps, which I found sometimes gave me pins and needles (my fault, not theirs), I was very keen to try the strapless poles. I did wonder if they would be as easy to use - they definitely are! These are the poles for Nordic walking and so they have the little "feet" at the end. These take a while to get used to, but the same applies with regard to the classical Nordic poles. Much easier to open gates, climb over stiles, etc. and I find my hands are less sore.

I love my new poles! I prefer strapless poles and these ones are very good and easy to use on roads or country paths etc.
