MYBAT Tempered Glass Screen Protector for LG D415 Optimus L90 - Retail Packaging - Clear

Purchased this for my mother's lg l90. She had some of those plastic screen protectors which I applied for her. They were a real pain to apply and they scratched easily. If you prep the screen well before applying this glass unit, it virtually installs itself. After prepping, I held it as close and aligned as closely as I could and simply dropped it onto the phone. Use your finger to draw a cross in the center. Then simply smooth from the center outward to complete the application. If you have any questions, there are plenty of installation videos on Youtube. Overall glass protectors are clearer, will look better and save you time and frustration in the long run. I can't say if one brand of glass protector is any better than another. I actually have a different brand on my g3 but couldn't find one in that brand that fit my mother's l90. The only downside is that glass protectors do seem to attract more fingerprints. I think this is mostly due to the more glossy look over plastic protectors which are often more matte-like. The good thing is that when you clean a glass protector, it's much less likely to scratch. I don't think you can go wrong here.

Amazing cover. I've dropped my device several times and even dropped things on it that should've scratched the screen. This tempered glass cover is the perfect addition to my Gorilla Glass 2 screen. This screen protector is by far the best tempered glass protector you can get. It's survived drops and tons of abuse! For being as old as it is, it's still perfect, minus the scretches of course!

Is doing a great job so far. I bought my last one from this company and it protected my screen for a little over a year. I can be rough on phones and between screen covers I dropped mine and got a small crack so I'm glad this came in the mail a a day later. I like that this one has a rounded edge. Sticks well and no bubbles after carefully following instructions. If this one protects as well as my last one, it'll be great. Is a good fit for my LG Optimus L90. True to picture for coverage.

I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing that I've ordered 4 of these, two for me and two for my husband. They do such a great job at protecting my screen and you can't beat the price. I dropped my phone in a parking lot one day and it must have hit a rock because it had cracked. I decided on not getting a replacement for awhile and just leaving the cracked one on, after several l drops the protector held up well. I will definitely purchase again.

I have a nice, new LG L90 D415 and a strong aversion to fingerprints and shattered screens (I have a lot of the former, none of the latter in my cell-phone owning life).I have tried no fewer than three brands of screen protectors and found all of them wanting. They either went on badly, didn't stay on, collected fingerprints like a hoarder collects trash or, for whatever reason, seemed to attract dust in as dust-free of an environment as a human can manage outside of a NASA satellite assembly lab, resulting in bubbles and defects that look awful when the phone isn't on (and don't look all that great when it's on, either). I'd burn through a 3-pack in one application just trying to get the thing to lay down or get the bubbles out.Knowing I'm a particularly picky sort of person, I had wish-listed more screen protectors than one human really needs and went down the list. This one is the ONLY one that made the grade.The application instructions are basically the same as the other screen protectors, but the actual application is far and away MUCH easier than with the other flimsy ones. The flimsy ones rarely ever lined up correctly and I had to un-peel and re-lay it over and over (and that's when the dust usually got in). This thing is stiff (well, duh, it's made of glass), and one could align it PERFECTLY before laying it down. Better still, when pealing off the top protection cover, it didn't pull away from the phone like the other ones all did (another point where dust would sneak in - I swear I have a dust gnome under my desk waiting for that to happen to do it!).It required a minimum of time to align and lay and it went on beautifully. A little work with the squeegee and there are no bubbles, no dust, nothing that mars the surface in any way.That ALONE was worth five stars in my book.But wait, there's more!Yes, this thing repels fingerprints far better than any other screen protector I've used. They do show up a little, but it's a matter of the different between a campfire in the forest and a forest fire. I'd rather deal with the campfire. Cleaning it is also a lot faster and easier, which is the point of the coating.I have an oleophobic coating on my glasses, which does make cleaning them a lot easier. It won't STOP fingerprints (noting is impervious to peanut butter, after all), but it will keep them out of the way so you're not obsessively wiping the screen for five minutes trying to remove the oils.I also note that it's actually more sensitive than the previous floppy screen protectors I've used. Touches register better with less effort. I tend to use a stylus (it takes the peanut butter much better than the screen does), and I don't have to be as firm in using it as I do with a more traditional screen protector.As for the fit, for the LG L90 D415 it fits great. It's slightly smaller than the actual screen size, but it stays out of the way and my hands don't get caught on the edges like some others. With a case, you'll never know it's there, until something tries to scratch it, then I expect you'll be happy you had it. To be honest, I've yet to see it in action, but I don't expect to ever have to. I've owned touch screen devices since the dawn of time and never once managed to take out a screen.For the price, it's excellent insurance should one's peanut butter-coated fingers turn into simply butter fingers and one's phone takes a header into something that would otherwise crack or destroy the screen. A little protection can go a very long way in that respect.All in all I HIGHLY recommend this

It does the job, but it really shouldn't be cracked right out of the packaging. Granted, it's broken, but my dad's phone is somewhat protected as his physical screen is safe for now. There should be better quality checks before it gets shipped out. The crack went right from the bottom to the lower side.

Moving up from an "HD" film protector, I wanted something that would last longer than three months, but that I could justify the cost since I don't plan on using this phone for much longer. This one fit the bill.From first impressions, it's pretty thin. It comes with an alcohol pad, a squeegee, and a cleaning cloth.Putting it on was very straightforward and simple. I got it lined up and installed in one attempt, no squeegee necessary, no air bubbles, and no multiple attempts. It's very clear, with the exception of the outlines of the glass, there doesn't appear to be anything there. The glass is a finger print magnet. It literally draws finger prints, and it definitely adds glare. With that said, it doesn't exactly impact performance. Speaking of impact performance, this protector has already seen unlikely contact with keys and (unlike previous screens and screen protectors) still shines like new. Only time will tell how well it holds up, but for now, I definitely recommend this product.
