Beautiful and Dark Book
I got this book to try to understand the Concept of Past Lives and to prepare myself for a session. Supposedly this is one of the best books on the subject matter. Not sure I totally believe in this concept, but who knows? As for the content of the book, it is very detailed and practical. It explains some of the techniques but also going into a lot of the past life sessions that the author has done with patients. This book was written many decades ago, so there aren't any trigger warnings or hand holding present in the writing. So be warned that a lot of the "past life" regression stories present in this book are pretty dark and brutal. All the dark things you could think of are present in the stories. So be ready for that. This isn't a very feel good book. It's written from the perspective of a psychotherapist who is helping to heal traumatized patients... So of course there is going to be some messed up things.

An excellent book on how we navigate lifetime upon lifetime
An excellent book on how we navigate lifetime upon lifetime. Presents evidence of how we go from victim to abuser and back again. Shows a frightening aspect of reincarnation which also realistic. It widens one's view of the overall experience of life. It is important to understand this if one wants to gain freedom from the suffering of life. It strengthened my faith in the teachings of the Buddha.

Maybe the best past life book i have ever read. no fluff
a deep, insightful, honest, soulful, useful book. arguably the best past life book i've ever read, out of maybe 50. This book left me with a greatly changed and expanded view of our life journeys and human relationships. To my mind, an essential textbook for the curriculum of being alive.

Interesting topic
This book brings case studies to light that deal with topic of only our bodies cease to exist, but our true selves continue on forever. The way it was presented left it up to the reader to decide their beliefs.

Great read with great insights
My only reason for reading past life stuff is to get insight into how past traumas affect our lives today. This book does a great job of explaining this phenomena and focussing on the healing and not on idle curiosity about the past. Woolger obviously knows his psychotherapy.

Author is a delusional hypocrite!
The author claims to regress patients to reveal past lives, as part of a therapy process. This automatically says he believes in reincarnation! However, after hundreds of pages of strange multi-syllable words, which mean something only to the author, he discloses that it is not "his" right to certify reincarnation as a fact! So..........how could he be in the business of treating and curing people, using a method that he does not he himself believe in? Don't waste your time or money on this nonsense!

A well written and thought provoking book, it is certainly well worth reading.
The item was delivered as per the delivery date, well packaged and labelled perfectly. An extremely interesting read from start to finish. Concepts of the Past Life Therapy, Unknown Psychic realms and up to the Psychology of Karma, proved to be an interesting, thought provoking and a very enlightening journey. There are indeed a number of paths that require study and review to fully understand the concept of Past Life Regression, Re-Incarnation and the Karma, this book goes a long way to deal with all of these concepts.I did find the authors use and explanation of real life experiences extremely interesting , all harboring with the above concepts was certainly fully disclosed, and documented perfectly.

Tune in, turn on!
I went to Roger Woolger's workshop in London as a car designer interested in Yoga. On introduction most of the audience were doctors or psychotherapeutics. I felt a little out of place when Roger started to talk about Freud and psychology, then he mentioned his time in India and his love of Yoga and it began to fall into place. The experience of one little old lady doctor from the audience rolling on the floor while recounting her death in a past life, highlighted the realism of the theory. This book explores further stories of some of his patients. It is very readable and most enlightening, some times a bit basic and savage. After, I too had a 'one to one' session and found nothing being held on to from previous lives. But perhaps you have...?

Too pricey.
It's written 1099 and you have charged 1780 from me. Why so. The book is good for sure but I am appalled at the price tag.
