New Stigan Turbo Turbocharger w/Actuator For Volkswagen VW Jetta TDI 1.9 Diesel Mk5 BRM 2005 2006 Replaces 038253014Q - Stigan 847-1478 New

Installed turbocharger on October 4th. So far so good! MIL errors gone and my 2006 VW Jetta TDI runs great, no limp mode! Car has 332,000 miles!

Not worth it. It way out of adjustment and didn't make any boost. Replaced other vacuume parts thinking it was something else after replacing the blown turbo. Went for a drive smoked out the whole road out with no power. Now it started whining so i tore it back apart and the fins were missing on exhaust side and some were rubbing the exhaust housing and sounds awful. Would have been better off throwing the blown turbo on that I ran for 7k miles blown than this junk. Don't waste your money on this turbo. Now I've got to pull everything apart again and hopefully change it with something better. Hopefully it didn't damage the motor in the process.

This BRM turbo assembly is what seems to be OEM quality. The only modification I had to do was to slightly grind down part of the oval on the oil return line from my car to get it to fit this new turbo. The original turbo housing has a slight indentation and this one doesn't. Took me 30 secs to do on a grinder and it fit just fine.

the turbo fit and worked perfectly. got a couple thousand miles on it now

Direct replacement

bolted right on with any issues! Tip make sure you remove anything off old turbo and install on new turbo before putting on car. Car is back up an running!

Tough to install, but works great.

Was less then half the price of others. Functions well so far. I did not have to adjust anything.
