- CONTAINS 'THE MOTHER' - Lucy’s Organic Apple Cider Vinegar is always produced and bottled with ‘the Mother.’ ‘Mother’ of vinegar is a substance composed of cellulose and acetic acid. ‘The Mother’ in our Apple Cider Vinegar occurs naturally. An analysis is performed on the vinegar tanks on a regular basis to ensure that those friendly molecules (acetobacter) are present. As a natural and organic product there will be times where the appearance of the product may vary from time to time. However, because the product is not filtered or pasteurized you can be sure that it always contains ‘the Mother.’
- WHY WATER? – Lucy’s Organic Apple Cider Vinegar is diluted with water to make it milder and more palatable for consumption. This dilution lowers the acidity to 5%, making it gentler on the stomach and easier on the throat. It also increases its cohesiveness in recipes, drinks, and as a health tonic.
