Bond Manufacturing Newcastle Fire Table

Beautiful fire pit took a long time to arrive almost s month the top was slightly cracked when arrived but not very noticeable not worth the trouble of sending back and waiting another month it's very heavy! Too heavy to lift vomes with cover but not very water proof will have to get a better one for the winter

When I first ordered this table I was very skeptical. I wanted a fire table with fire glass. It turns out this table is as good as the $3000 I have seen, and was going to buy.The unit is delivered in one piece. It is already built and VERY SOLID. Two handles along the sides are there for two people to grab and lift the fire table.The Stacked faux-stone base (fake rock) on the sides does not look bad. Everybody has to touch it to actually tell it's fake. So that's a plus. I was worried about the look of it.The Marble top is beautiful. I cant say anything more about it. VERY NICEThe burner does almost an oval. (It does not connect) I could not find any pictures on this while doing my research, I forgot to take a picture before I loaded the fire glass for you guys, so sorry about that. The grate looking thing I believe is for air. The igniter needs the air to start. I went ahead and covered this with the fire glass because it stood out and was ugly. Igniting takes a little time now with the fire glass, or you can grab a lighter start the gas and instantly have a flame going.I changed the lava rock out and used fire glass, I had to seal around the burner where it initially comes into the bowl for there was to big of a gap. (The fire glass would fall through) used about 13 LBS of fire glass to fill to the top or the bowl. This is so the Marble Table Cover still fits. If you were not to use the Marble Table Cover, about 18LBS to fill all the way to the ledge of the marble.All around I am very happy with this fire table. I was going to pay $3300 for a fire table with granite top and 40LBS of fire glass. I bought this table and made it perfect for $680 with the fire glass.

I purchased my fire pit in September 2010 and I was very excited to put it to use. Initially, it worked fine. The electric start was faulty from the start but no problem, I used a lighter. Being in a northern climate, the pit was only used for 2-months before it was covered and stored until May. The next season the base began to deteriorate. Seems the system does not hold up well to winters. Eventually, the gas would not stay lit and the pit is now useless. This is where the Bond company demonstrated their lack of customer support. When I contacted Bond the service person was rude and impatient. I requested a new gas valve and they sent me the wrong part and refused to take it back. So I paid for a part that I do not need and did not request. I finally went to the store where I purchased the fire pit and they promised to get me some help. After 2-weeks they are about to give up. They have sent 4-emails and placed 4-phone calls. None have been returned. Bond just does not care. I m stuck with a useless piece of junk. I would recommend that no one under any circumstances purchase a Bond product. Bond does not stand behind their product or their customers.

This Fire Table has been a great addition to our patio. We have used it regularly since we got it about 6 weeks ago. We had a slight issue with the burner staying lit but spoke to the company and learned that there was too much fire glass around one of the sensors. Simply moved the glass pieces around to provide a little extra space and it has worked like a charm ever since.

The fireplace looks good, works well and was a great addition to our backyard setting - would highly recommend. No more cleaning up ashes for me.
