Arrived in excellent condition, when expected. Everything it was advertised. It is very well written, an excellent resource.

"The Book of Rune Secrets" is short, and to the point, as it should be. No manipulation into a cult-cattle mentality like some of the popular authors of rune books.His descriptions of each rune-stave may be short, but they contain the relevant ideas without weighing you down with archaic, pedantic, and/or poetic jargon.If you keep in your mind the journey he is taking you on, such as being mindful of the significance of each ætt in relation to the staves they contain, by the time you reach the end, where you find the method he intends for you to apply the runes, you will certainly be rewarded.Unlike too many books about runes, "The Book of Rune Secrets" does not feel like a knock-off of Thorsson's books, nor will you be manipulated in the same way.I highly recommend "The Book of Rune Secrets" to anyone just starting off on their journey into runology, as well as anyone looking for a fresh perspective, with well formed thoughts.

I am enjoying every moment studying the lessons in The Book of Rune Secrets by Tyriel. It is a mind-blowing, eye-opening, change-inducing gem of deep insight. The author has a humility and gentleness that makes reading it not just informative, but a relaxing pleasure. The content is well written and organized allowing the reader to absorb a brand new perspective on the runes with ease. This is not just another rune meanings book. It is away of life, a unique world view, that challenges and inspires the reader. The method presented is the best kind of self-discovery, realization and actualization. The bonus is having the author's unique knowledge and perspective of the runes to work with for a lifetime of growth and evolution. I highly recommend!!

I am no master in runes and only dabble in them. They are a great part of a spiritual path. I have followed tyriel on his website runesecrets and he has a great community of people that talk about runes and what they are and mean. this is a great book that goes deeper than just a short explanation of what each rune means. ( i do think that the book is over priced for what you get and wished i had waited for the kindle version)

This is a refreshing take on esoteric writing. I recommend reading the last appendix before proceeding with the book, as the author waxes on the value of the Reader as a resource and bringer of knowledge. It's an enlightening philosophy I hope to see more authors practice.

The Book of Rune Secrets is the most refreshing look at the runes of the Elder Furthark in 20 years of studying Northern mythologies. Tyriel's perspective eloquently captures ideas I have struggled to express about how the runes relate to our 21st century lives. There are many good books available that look at mundane and esoteric concepts associated with each rune stave and their use in divination. Tyriel is concerned with the energies and principles at the core of each symbol and how these can be understood in the context of scientific knowledge and personal growth. The book is thought provoking for the experienced runester and at the same time an accessible starting place for a newcomer to gain a sound foundational knowledge - and that is a true magical achievement! I am now reading this book for the second time and cannot say enough good things about it.

I'll never look at the runes the same, since the universe gave me a car with LHH on it's plate. The fact I surivived driving it for 7 years, can only be thanks to this book. This easy to read, fun, clear book, is by far the most deeply sourced and connected description of the meaning and background of the runes I have come across. Tyriel has nailed in the profoundest possible way the mastery and understanding of life of our tribal ancestors. If you are interested in the runes and the wisdom behind them, this is the one book you mustn't miss. Buy!

It is an excellent insight into understand Runes

I really like the fact that this book is written by someone who has actually experienced the Runes rather than just explaining the meanings from an intellectual standpoint of their history , which is hard to find when the Runes choose you rather than you choosing them and I find the book both refreshing and concise to help me unravel a deeper understanding with my own journey with them without being boggled with to much information on the history but just enough to inspire further investigation if needed if you are coming from that standpoint and really looking forward to more books on the series and also love the website and the fact Tyriel has generously given lots of free information aside the book to be able to really have a much deeper relationship with them ..brilliant !

I appreciate when someone has done the chore of compiling all the research in rune study. It’s an easy read that explains the futhark perfectly.

I thought I was just buying a book to help me practice rune divination - and instead I got far far more! This book is an exploration of human psychology, spiritual evolution and cosmology - as well as a system of personal alchemy through the use and understanding of the complex layers of meaning encoded into each rune symbol. The author delivered this amazing content with honesty, integrity and not a hint of ego. I believe Tyriel is an unsung wizard and sage of our time.
