Pu-erh #179- The bouquet of the finished tea is strong and soft at the same time, pleasantly plumy with spices. And it also has pleasant shades of tree bark, rich bun and a little camphor. The aroma of an empty cup is powerful, viscous and sweetish-spicy. The taste is both dense and moderately rich, soft, with a pleasant balance and a long aftertaste.

I was amazed today when my No7 Puerh Raw tea arrived from jinglong tea company. This is my third purchase from this company and I am very impressed with the way this tea tastes so fresh and is packaged in a really neat and creative way. I have bought loose teas from a number of places and a lot of them seem to oxidize after a short time while all of these teas I have ordered I've never had that happen, I am no tea expert but I think that is an indication that it is packaged and stored with care and doesnt get all dried out or have any chemicals added. I love this place and will be ordering tea here for a long time, THANK YOU!

I'm no pu-erh expert, but I like this tea. It is good quality for a daily morning cup. I brew it very strong for a keto bullet-proof tea first thing in the morning with cream and some clear coconut oil added. I know that's not traditional, but it meets my needs well. It is smooth and full bodied with none of the fishy smell that some of the poorer or under-aged pu-erh teas can have. It is not bitter at full coffee darkness strength, which is not an easy thing to pull off.

I’m a dark tea dark coffee dark wine dark beer kinda person. This tea is just that and is perfect for my tastes.

High-quality puer tea! For real puerh lovers! Ordered it twice. Will order again.The only thing I was disappointed though is that the cover photo of this product on Amazon was misleading. It says 2018 harvest, though, in fact, it's 2023 harvest, so it's super young for puerh. The seller should remove the photo with the harvest date at all, and include real harvest date for every product.

That's about it; it tastes like dirt and is overpriced for being so "exclusive and exotic". Call me naive or unrefined if you wish, but this puck of dusty, rotten tea was such a waste of money

I enjoyed the packaging and the tea smells great but the flavor is a bit fishy. Great value if thats your thing. I will use it but only when I desire invoking a memory of fish camps in Alaska with a cold smoke going and salmon drying on racks in the sun. Thats the memory I cherish when tasting this tea. Not a daily drinker for me though.

This is a COOKED Puh-Ehr Tea, and it's relatively Very Young since Production. Plus, they are only giving it a Very Sort Life to drink it, so I kind of am not too happy about that. I'm letting this just sit in my Bedroom, where it's always DRY and COOL, and going to let it "Age" for a few more months, before I do anything. That should give it enough time to get "Acclimated" to my Room, and by then, I think it's going to be about as good as it's going to get, under the circumstances. I got this based on the absolute ROCK BOTTOM PRICE for a Puh-Ehr Tea CAKE, and it did come nicely wrapped in a very nice box, and very nice package, suitable for a GIFT, so let's hope it doesn't stop there. If that much thought went into it, this far, I'm hoping the Puh-Ehr Tea inside is also as well Processed, Pressed, and will be Ready to be Used too. Wish me, and this Puh-Ehr Tea, lots of LUCK... and I'll update you, after I break it open, and actually try it.

The aroma from the tea is great.

I fill up my loose leaf mug with a couple servings worth everyday at work with a teaspoon of honey in the first steep. After sampling a few different brands found on Amazon, this is the closest to what I originally tried from Shanghai.Love it, deep flavour, never goes bitter like other tea types even after topping up my mug a few times with hot water.Thank you 179

A good daily driver. I like the second and third steeps best. Tasty, doesn't ever disappoint.
