Nutural World - Crunchy Smoked Almond spread (1Kg) Great Taste Award Winner

At first I ordered a crunchy one but got a smooth one! And I’ve never been a fan of smooth butters but since I waited my order for so long I was choosing to give it a try! But as I expected I didn’t like it! The overall combination of smoked almonds, salt and oil was really weird for me in the smooth way! I’m 100% sure it will be delicious in a crunchy way but never EVER in a smooth way!

I bought this when I was on a real almond kick, along with chocolate almonds and turron. The smokiness is subtle, and it makes a nice change from peanut butter on toast or in recipes.

This sounded gorgeous but actually has a very odd taste.

A day after trying this I developed a rash and was wondering whether it was due to the almond butter which I was a bit unhappy about as I’m not allergic to nuts but had to buy some anti-histamine to stop the itching . I did eventually try some more out to test my theory, and nothing happened and didn’t experience any further rashes. I’ve still been having some almond butter with no further episodes of rashes so don’t know why I had them originally suffice to say I love this nut butter. There’s the right amount of crunchiness for me that keeps it still spreadable and I like the smoked element which reminds me of something but I can’t remember what (sorry).

I love this, nutty, little bit smokey and salty, great with cheese or to eat by the spoonful.

I love most of the crunchy nut butter Nutural World make. The smoked Almond is too smoked for my taste.Nut butter marmite perhaps?

First of all 10 out of ten to the folks at Nutural for producing a smoked almond spread. Biscuits tins and their contents I can resist, anything with smoked almonds I can't. This is a good quality butter, the only thing I would say is that the epithet "crunchy" was a little understated here. There was a large amount of very big almond pieces in the product (unlike the photo of the butter) which should in principle be lovely. The reality was it took away from the 'butter' element and became a little more like chopped mixed nuts in almond oil even after stirring. The answer was to tip the contents into the Magimix for a quick blitz. The result was still very crunchy but much more buttery.

Schon beim Öffnen des Glases war ich sehr verwundert. Oben schwimmt eine dicke Schicht Öl. Ok, dass sich bei solchen Produkten oft etwas Öl absetzt, kennt man ja, aber nicht solche Mengen. Es sieht einfach auf den ersten Blick schon völlig unappetitlich aus. Ich habe versucht das ganze zu verrühren, das ist mir nicht wirklich gelungen, bereits nach kurzer Zeit schwimmt oben wieder diese Ölschicht.Ich musste mich wirklich überwinden, das ganze zu probieren, auch der Geschmack hat mich absolut nicht überzeugt. Mandelgeschmack konnte ich absolut nicht feststellen, weil alles einfach nur von dem Rauchgeschmack überdeckt ist, der leider auch lange im Mund vorhanden bleibt.Ich bin sehr enttäuscht von dem Produkt und kann es absolut nicht empfehlen.

Il sapore di affumicato è molto forte, difficile mangiarlo da solo o con lo yogurt. Adatto per accompagnare carni arrosto o selvaggina

La consistenza croccante è identica alla versione non affumicata ma non è qui che sta la differenza.Utilizzandolo principalmente a colazione, la varietà smoked risulta a mio avviso forse meno adatta a chi preferisce un gusto dolce al primo mattino.Il sentore affumicato è intenso e ricorda quello dello speck da qui l'dea di accostarlo principalmente a pranzo o cena magari spalmato su un bel pezzo di focaccia o una farinata di ceci.Che scoperta!Se non prediligete questo sentore suggerisco di passare al versione normale, in caso contrario l'unico problema che avrete sarà quello di stare attenti a non mangiarne troppo.La confezione non è molto robusta e potrete trovare dell'olio che trasuda dal coperchio, tuttavia la protezione in pluriball aumenta il grado di integrità nel trasporto.Il servizio di consegna Amazon è stato puntuale.Consigliato.

I love smoked almonds but this has a very artificial smoke taste. Also, very irregular grind (large chunks as well as powdered almond) lead to brick and mortar sort of clumps.
