Good quality, safe for baby to use.
These are such nice wooden eggs, colorful, shiny and good quality. Four of them make various soft noises when shaken and the other makes a noise when it is twisted. They're smaller so they're perfect for little hands. I'm giving them to my 5 month old great grandchild for Easter, and they look so cute in the little basket I put together for him. I'm sure he'll have them for years to come.

Excellent For Egg Hunting
These are every nice & colorful. Just as the picture shows. The sounds they make are softer - not loud or obnoxious. Should fit little hands well and will be used for a toddler egg hunt.

Fun sounds!
Little one loves the eggs and the different sounds they make. They are very well made and not super loud which isn't a bad thing.

Cute wooden eggs but a little disappointing
Maybe my expectations were too high for a set of wooden eggs, so don’t be like me. Expect simple painted wooden eggs, then you won’t be disappointed. Hape makes some great quality wooden kids toys, and I acknowledge that these eggs are pretty durable and quality. My kid drools, chews, and throws these bad boys around, and they still look in pretty good shape! I think it was the “musical” aspect that’s disappointing. They each produce a different sound but it’s pretty basic. Some rattle, some whistle when shaken, and one clicks when turned. They’re good eggs, just not super musical.

Baby joy!!
I bought this for my 9 month old granddaughter. I wanted a little gift to give her when I went out west to visit her, since it was her big sister’s birthday, and she was going to get all the attention. The baby went bonkers over these, She played with them for hours. She would crawl all over the floor picking up each one and figuring out what it did (each one makes a different sound). I was hesitant to spend so much money on 5 wooden eggs, but the whole 5 days I was there she played with them constantly. I was super impressed with the high quality of this toy too. All wood, with a hard gloss colored finish and the perfect weight. Not flimsy at all. Just like the quality of an old fashioned wooden toy, I just love these things for the littles…

Not worth the money.
This cost way too much money for what you got. The sounds when you shake them are very weak and one kept getting stuck not worth the money.

As advertised
I put these musical eggs in my 8 month old's Easter basket. The quality is fantastic. They are very smooth and solid. Little one likes to put them in her mouth and gnaw on them and bang them together and on the floor and table and the paint has survived fully intact. Each egg is a different color and makes a different sound (one is more of a bell/wind chime sound, one is little beads, one is bigger beads, one clicks when you turn it. There are 5 and I can't remember what the other one does or what little one did with it.) I'm not into loud/electronic toys, so I love that they aren't super loud. The fit perfectly in my 8 month old's hands.
