I will start off with the punchline. The blanket is great and is better than as described. This is my first “heavy blanket” and I was skeptical from the get-go. I had never heard of the concept until browsing for a new blanket. I have never been diagnosed with any of the problems these blankets are intended to address, but the idea of a constant weighted embrace appealed to me. Maybe that is my undiagnosed issue right there. But I digress. The first thing I felt for was the glass beads but they are almost undetectable. Only after rubbing my fingertips together over and under the blanket was I able to feel miniscule beads. The blanket feels nice by itself. It is soft, durable and of high quality. The blanket and duvet come in a surprisingly beautiful carrying bag. It is roomy, velvety and stitched with the Vintap name. I am not sure I will be moving this blanket around with me and not sure how I will use the bag, but I am keeping it. It also made for a nice unboxing experience which I regret not videoing. The duvet is plush with a geometric pattern and a high quality zipper. I had no problem whatsoever attaching the blanket to the duvet following the instructions that came with it. Bottom line is that this heavy blanket is heavy and it is a blanket. I think Vintap took that basic concept and kicked it up a notch with a luxury, high quality product. Sizing and weight tip: I purchased the 48 x 78 version for my side of our new split king adjustable bed. I am used to a typically-sized blanket that extends over the bed on both sides. This one has about two inches extra on each side (remembering that my side of the bed is a twin). I quickly adjusted to this difference. The blanket lays over my top sheet. I am not any warmer with this blanket than the down comforter I used before it and for that I am glad. I was concerned over warmth. Size-wise, you do not want to order a blanket that is too big for your bed. Because of the unsupported weight hanging over the edge of your bed, the excess blanket will pull the blanket off the bed. My blanket is fifteen pounds. If I recall correctly, that was the only weight available. I looked at many other weighted blankets once I learned of the concept, and many others offer different weights. I do wonder whether I would be happier with more weight. If you are concerned about the fifteen pounds being too heavy, don’t be. I am 5’9” and two hundred pounds and it feels nice to me. My eighty-pound son tried it out and also liked the feel. I am very happy with this product and feel it was a terrific value compared to other brands. I have to confess that I am a big weighted blanket enthuziast. I have also bought other weighted blankets previously, but wanted to try this one because it has such a good reputation and it is considered as top notch when it comes to its quality and fabrics.The first thing I liked was the fair price, especially considering you get a high end product. You get the soft Minky duvet cover and the 400 TC cotton inner, which compared to other lower end blankets is way superior.The second is the natural touch and breathability of the materials.. the snug and comfort is just better when I compare it to my previous weighted blankets.The third is the unique design.. it just stands out the unique pattern of the stiching, especially on the minky cover. It gives a nice look aesthetically.The fourth and last is the way the inner secures inside the minky cover without movement and clumping. it has 10 ties, which nicely secure the two blankets in place. This can be really annoying if the blanket flops around and does not stay in place!!In my oppinion this product really stands out and deserves to be at the top of weighted blanket brands. The all around quality and unique design make me HIGHLY recommend this! GREAT PURCHASE

I am definitely a naps and blankets person, but I will keep this to the point. First, I really liked how this blanket made me feel so calm and hugged from the first night I used it. Everyone should experience a night cuddling a weighted blanket! Second, I am very happy that the product arrived just as described and how I hoped it would be. I wanted to order a weighted blanket for some time, but obviously as a cautious consumer did LOTs of research before buying.. it seemed to me that vintap was the best pick and I am now confirming this. Lastly, giving it a 5 stars because the blanket is classy, robust, and helps with my sleep!

Arrived as promised, well constructed, love the ties that secure the actual weighted blanket to the duvet and generous size (I am 5'4"). So after being initially pleased with the quality of the fabrics and prompt delivery....comes the benefits and claims! Yes, it has only been less than a week but, from the first night it helped me fall asleep without my normal tossing and turning and my need to either read a book or go on my iPad . I just wanted to see how long it would actually take me to doze off to sleep. Well, I covered myself up with your blanket and thought hmmmm.....then the next thing I knew, it was morning and I was still in the same position that I fell asleep in!? Thats really odd, because I usually toss and turn and even wake to go to the bathroom. Another thing is that I was hoping that this blanket would help with is the usual jet lag I get after my business trips. My first night of use was upon coming home after a 2 week business trip, so a real test! And I am happy to say, I didn't experience the usual jet lag symptoms. This blanket is saving me in so many ways. This blanket is worth much more than a couple hundred bucks to me! Thank you Vintap!

I was very undecided between what weighted blanket to buy. I knew it was going to be expensive, so I was hesitant a bit on which one to get. I really liked about Vintap a few things..1) it has an awesome Minky cover which feels fantastic to touch2) the cover secures well and ties in 10 points to the weighted blanket, so the blankets don’t slide around nor slip3) the extra spend is justified because of the exceptional quality and the fact that some of the other blankets don’t include a cover, and this one is a nice bundle4) the pressure from the weight is exactly what I was looking for. It does not feel like too much nor too little weightCons:I wish the blanket came in other colors tooAll in all, the blanket is lovely, and I am super happy I chose this one. Cover feels very good and the snug is real!! Very pleased with my buy and totally recommending this!
