Great cover for some vehicles
I got a new car and decided to upgrade my seat cover. The last one I had was much thinner and cheaper. The reason I chose this seat cover, is that it comes with the mesh part in the middle so the dog can get the air from the vents in the backseat. The mesh part is nice, but extends too far. It actually ends up being mesh on the seat part where the dog lays down in the middle because of where everything falls once installed. There are two little pockets built in with a plastic roll inside that you are supposed to tuck into the cracks of your seat to help anchor it. Well, my car doesn't have cracks in the seats (something I discovered after purchasing this item). I also have high-backed seats without adjustable headrests in the backseat, so it's hard to make the loops stay put. The cover is easy to install, but it has plastic buckles that you strap around each headrest, and since my headrests are just solid with no gaps, I have to just loop the cover around it and hope for the best. The straps stay put fairly well, but I have to shove them back down at least once per week, and every once in a while one side will pop off, rendering that side of the seat cover useless while I'm driving. But, I just wrap it back around when I stop and go on about my day. This cover is reversible, gray on one side, tan on the other. The pockets are on the tan side on mine. This was disappointing because I do not like the tan color, so I have that side faced down. If I put anything in the pockets, it will have to be on the backside of the seat cover. The seat cover is well made, and comes with all the cutouts that it indicates, but it doesn't fit my car very well (2015 Dodge Charger). I really need the actual cover to be a bit wider, as once it is attached around all the headrests, the seat cover doesn't fit flat against the seat. I adjusted the buckles to loosen it and that helped a little, but it also takes away from the protection on the backs of the seats. I think with some minor design tweaks, they could make it more versatile for more vehicles.I would recommend this seat cover if your car doesn't have the issues mine does: non-adjustable back headrests, high seats, no seat cracks for the anchors. Additionally, I would love to see them create one that has the flaps on the sides to protect the end of the seat by the door for when the dog jumps in the car.

Overall pretty good, some design flaws
It's a pretty good cover, but I don't believe it's the best for my vehicle and I'm going to keep looking for another one. I have a 2012 Subaru Forester and I plan to use this in my backseat. Right out of the box, I loved the feel of the material and believe it will be pretty durable. My dog does not tear things up while on car rides, so I doubt she'll chew or claw this. I bought this item specifically for the split hammock function and it works very well. In fact my dog seems to prefer the hammock side. I have not had trouble with the zipper, as others have stated.Although it was really easy to put in my car, I found some things that make it less than ideal for my vehicle. The center zipper requires you to pull your seat buckles out and away from the seat then zip around them. In my vehicle, this doesn't work as the buckles do not have that much give from the seat. Also, my doggy harness requires use of the child seat anchors, which means I have to snake the harness cables around the sides of the hammock cover. (-1 star for that) I'm not sure exactly what the manufacturers had planned for the side Velcro attachments, but they seem to just Velcro around my side seat belts, poorly I might add. There's really nothing keeping the side Velcro in place. All in all, I like it, but it's design isn't perfect for my vehicle.

Great design and build. My dogs don't like it. Read why.
A friend bought a similar one and raved about it. Said her dogs loved it and it kept them from sliding around or falling on the floor if she had to press on the brakes hard. My dogs weren't really sure what to do with this. My dogs are head out of the window riders and when they aren't doing that, they like laying with their paws hanging off the seat. I think the hammock makes them feel more cramped. I could see the multiple benefits for other dogs and families but for me it was just kind of whan-wha.Very nicely made and stitched with no mechanical or design issues whatsoever. Reversible with tan on the other side although if reversed to the other color you don't have access to the pockets. The design of the zipper in the middle is great so you can have your dog move from back to front if desired.

Dog gives it 5 Stars!
Dog was really tired of getting dirty looks whenever he dragged his muddy paws into the car, that is until the Pet Travel Hammock was delivered. We had a really cheap cover that we paid 10 bucks for and as the backing fell off we understood the reason for the cheap price. The travel hammock is thick, reversible, and since it hangs from both front and back it keeps Dog from parking his paws on the front center console. There is even a zipper on the front section that enables us to install the granddaughter's cars eat without removing the entire cover. We have been using it for 3 months and although the initial cost seems a little spendy the travel hammock is well worth every penny. The only thing that seems a bit wasteful to me is that there are numerous pockets to store items in. Dog only goes on short trips so the pockets seem an extravagance, but as George Carlin once said, "a guy needs a place to keep his stuff" and I got stuff.

Great!
We love this. Easy to install. Keeps the car clean. No smell to it. Dog likes it too. Great quality. Durable. If I could ask the company to change/add one thing it would be to create a way for the zipper to stay zipped if a dog wants to rest his head in between the two front seats to watch out the front window. My dog wants to rest there, and the zipper that allows one side to zip down for a passenger to sit in the backseat, comes undone by several inches. I keep reaching over to zip it back up. It would be an easy fix and I'm planning to take it to a seamstress to add a piece to stop this from happening. If your dog doesn't want to rest his head and body in this central location to watch out the front window, you won't have a problem with this at all.
