The shampoo did remove the stains from my hair and I felt pretty safe using it. It does not have a chemical smell. My gray hair was shinier and the white hair was brighter. If you are curious about trying something like this - this would be a good one to try

PERFECT for my old English sheepdog! Keeps her beard white and brightens her coat all over! Leave in too long and you will see a dull greyish blue left in coat. I use Chris Christensen After Bath conditioner which helps remove that build up color when it sets in.

I have used this brand of hair care products for my dogs and myself for nearly a decade. it was the first time i bought the Yellowout version; got it for both my white shih tzu and for myself. My hair needed washing before his did so i tried it on myself. I love the color enhancement it gave my (colored) blonde hair: a sort of golden highlight with a hint of ash so it's not too "out there". I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because my scalp as a bit itchy after the using it. My scalp is hyper sensitive so i don't anticipate it would affect a lot of people, i will use it again and the dog is next !

Received my package yesterday (March 15, 2019), when opened I noticed purple liquid ALL over the package and the lid was on loose! We instantly called Amazon and spoke to a rep who was very nice, and offered a quick solution! I explained how we own Standard Poodles and how my female really needed this for her bath yesterday. The rep understood my frustration and offered a refund, and for me to keep the product since it had leaked so much fluid out. I used what product we had left in the bottle and must say I was BLOWN AWAY by the results! Our girl has been sorta dingy with all the winter weather and mud we’ve had recently, but this product made her WHITE as snow again and she smells amazing! Very impressed, and she got so many compliments on her beautiful coat! This will be my go to product from here on out! I absolutely love this stuff! Great for whitening grey coats

I like the smell and lather but it deposits purple color onto my gray hair.

Ok, I know this is a horse shampoo. My 13+ yo standard poodle has lost a lot of her bladder control. Her white legs are stained from urine. So, in desperation I went to this. While it did not remove all the stain, it did lift more than I expected and made the rest of her white look sparkling. I am pleased with this and hope with more use it may lift more.

Lovely shampoo. My silver locks are left soft, manageable and shiny. This shampoo outperforms my more expensive brands.
