Greenwood Nursery: Live Ground-Cover Plants - Vinca Minor + Lesser/Dwarf Periwinkle - [Qty: 50 Bare Roots] - (Click for Other Available Plants/Quantities)

These plants arrived extremely healthy and well-packed. They are in the ground and thriving. This is a very economical way to plant a lush carpet of pachysandra. I’m confused by any of the bad reviews, and suspect the recipient either didn’t plant right away or planted in the wrong growing conditions. I will recommend this nursery to my family and friends.

The package arrived early. Good if you're home to plant on arrival, but I was out of town so package sat on front porch for a few days. Hindsight being 20/20, I should have returned them since roots and packing was bone dry and foliage was slightly wilted. Even with good soil and sufficient watering only 4 have survived.

The media could not be loaded.  Got these in April 2023, last year. When they arrived, I knew they were going to be little more than seedlings but it still disappointed me when i unpacked them. However, in one year they exploded. Growth was amazing and both plants are absolutely covered in beautiful pink flowers. I am so impressed that I ordered 3 more pairs of different colors. You can see in the pictures that the plant in shade is not as big as the one that received full sun almost all day. The shade only appears in mid-afternoon in that spot so it does get a good amount of sun from sunrise til then.None of the nurseries or big box stores carried creeping phlox and I just had to have them after I saw a breathtaking arrangement growing in my neighbor's garden.I have gotten compliments on these two already. I'm so excited to receive the order I placed today!Obviously I highly recommend this plant and the seller.

Some reviews are critical of the size of plant for the money, but the listing very clearly tells you the pot size. And Sweet Woodruff is a plant I can NOT find locally so long as the plants arrived healthy and full for pot size - I am happy. These arrived carefully wrapped in plastic wrapped pots to keep soil from spilling, and they are healthy full plants for the pot size. See photo. Would buy again.

This is my favorite ground cover plant. It looks pretty growing over the rocks at the edge of my garden. My order arrived on time and is doing well.

Product arrived dry and difficult to unwind to plant as they were wrapped in bunches of 25 plants per bundle and I ordered 200 total. I soaked the plants for 36-48 hours prior to planting as directed, gave each appropriately2-3” of good soil mix each watered daily and after about 2-3 weeks only about 15 plants have survived in various areas. SO disappointing, it took several hours over several evenings to place them over the area they were to “spread” and as the website notes: it’s up to the customer to prove to results , it’s simply not worth my time or effort!! I simply will no be purchasing from this fine company in the future.
